When I would visit family in Mexico, I would often watch active construction and I never realized how skilled and invincible they are lol no hard hats, no holsters, harnesses etc they just have confidence in their skills! God bless them and I pray they finish the house safely ❤❤

I have seen some construction in Hermosillo and they used big losetas to cover the roof instead of blocks it’s less expensive , faster and safer because the losetas are reinforced with varillas and also insulation underneath; Your husband is doing a lot of hard work, I live in Phoenix and my wife and I we bought a campestre lot and are going to build a house hopefully soon ! people who are asking why Diego isn't helping have their priorities messed up. Diego is a teenager and ya'll want him working on a construction site? that's messed up. These house builds are dangerous, even for Fidel and all the workers there. My cousin's boyfriend fell off the roof and became paralyzed, it's not a place for a teenager to be out there. Candice is right to have Diego prioritize his school work so he doesn't have to be out there in the sun working so hard. It's not easy. You should always want your children to do better than you and so on.
My dad worked with my grandpa building houses in Jalisco when he was a little kid and I think that really messed with him. He never said it did but he never went further than a 4th grade education, was constantly bullied for being behind in school, and always felt like his worth in life is determined off how hard he works. He still works in construction and he’s so intelligent I always say he could’ve been a doctor had he had a different path. Let kids be kids. We have the rest of our lives to be grown
The blocks are not very heavy because they are hollow. After they pour the concrete on top, it’s going to be as secure as a bunker. IMHO, I think they should add storm shutters. Just my opinion. It’s going to be awesome! 😊

Those are not regular rooms i used to lived in a studio apartment and it was not as big.
