Kitty I’ve actually always thought of them as that golden honey color you drew them as, and they changed to green when using her hearing and blue with her sight. If she was using them all at once it would be a flakey mixtures of all three. So yeah

Well, they’ve actually been confirmed to be green. The editorial team are publishing the books with a green eyed dovewing, because that’s how they intended them to be. The editorial team owns and completely controls warrior cats. But whatever, y’know.

I'm so freaking jealous of this..... Great job. You pulled this off so well, using gold in all, I'm nearly in tears of how perfect this ended up being.
Also, I like how the Erin's made a character with a disability in our world (Aspergers/sensory overload) and made her into a hero. I think that's why she's so endearing to me while other people despise her. She has the same "disability" as I do and she feels out of place and knows that nobody will understand her, but she learns to live with it, learns to live with herself, and learns to love others, and I understand how she doesn't like Bumble the way he likes her and that's mostly why people don't like her, I think. Because she didn't like the nice guy that was always there for her, but that's REAL LIFE. Our crushes don't always love us back. The way Bumble dealt with it is what made me uncomfortable. He kept on forcing his feelings on her, never giving her a resting moment without reminding her that he loved her and that made Dove uncomfortable. She felt like she HAD to be with him, to make him happy, and that's what hit me HARD. I FELT that. I spent my whole life trying to make everyone else's lives better, trying to please them, even at my own demise and I felt how Dove did and

after the Great Battle with the Dark Forest was over, I think she felt like Bumble was fragile in his mental state after fighting with cats that were supposed to be DEAD that she decided she wasn't going to fight it anymore and she was with him and
ANOTHER SPOILER ALERT!
She realized that she shouldn't be with Bumble if it made her feel uncomfortable, that she shouldn't go with whoever liked her at the time, and she left him, and I was kind of proud of her. It was something I would never do, but she did it as soon as she felt like she didn't belong by his side. If it were me, I would have tried my hardest to make him feel like he had to break it off, try to make it so I wouldn't be the one to blame, and I admit, I do this sometimes, I would have stayed with him if he didn't break it off. I would have never been the one to break up with someone. But she just DID it. Without a second thought. And I just got so proud, I felt like a proud mother, because I knew I wouldn't do the same. We need more strong female role models now more then ever, who PROVE that you don't need a man, and PROVE that you don't need to be in a relationship if you don't feel like you belong in it and Dovewing does just that. And she isn't sorry for it.
And that's why I love Dovewing. If you want to argue, and tell me I'm wrong, FITE ME. Its MY opinion. (Just putting that out there)

I've seen this on pinterest so many times, but was never able to find the artist! I'm so happy I finally found it. It's really beautiful, and Dovewing's eyes are now canonically gold.
In my opinion, Dovewing has green eyes, but Gold suits her! I respect your opinion on the eyecolor.
(It also gave me the idea that her eyes turn gold when she has a sensory overload.)

Okay let me say this: your style is so amazing and I can't believe I haven't found you until now. Your line work is beyond stunning and shading with gold?! Absolutely amazing! The way you used both hard and soft patterns in her fur creates a sort of real, true feel, like you could reach out and touch fur. The background is so intricate and detailed, it's beyond what I can put into words. I know you probably get this a lot, but your style is incredible. You have earned a sub.

That's probably because your canvas is too small, if you have a bigger canvas the pixels are too small to see on the finished picture.
4 years pass... Or any amount of time. The actual potential of YT being that your noticed over the span of time like an archieve. Yet, its the simple act of publishing content easing pain of many is a gift to society. My brother died about a year ago with the upcoming July. He had one last Patriotic July 4th. His primary cause was a behavioral disability. The cause of death being the over-use of smokelss tabbaco and vapes. After a massive heart attack he past away at the age of 32. Sensory overload was his life being turrets syndrome. People don't get this and its a true gift you give to soceity through a piece of art like this. So from my own to yours.... Thanks for sharing. how do you make your lineart "uneven" without making it completely sharp at the ends?
In paint tool sai. Made the '' min size'' at 5 or 10%

This is spectacular! You've grown tremendously as an artist in five years. Watching the process was particularly fascinating, as I have dabbled in drawing, but never progressed very far. Really good job on the shading and background. I like how the colors blend.

You're improvement is astonishing and inspiring. You show that even if someone has bad art now that they can grow and improve with practice patience and time. I find that truly remarkable and I wouldn't believe it if I didn't begin drawing and improve over the years. If it took you five years to get to this point, then I know each year I continue drawing I can grow in such a way you did. I love seeing these 5 year ago speedpaints, and if I ever get a following or whatever, I want to make one and show others that skill comes from practice and patience, and that no one is ever born a good artist. Sorry for ranting, I love the art. ^-^
