I currently have 389 decks of Tarot and oracle. I have been collecting them for over 50years. My original deck was purchased in 1967 it is a Rider Waite deck, I bought it by saving up my babysitting money, I use it all the time.

Very neat collection and set up lovely, One thing I don't understand though are the people that throw away the packaging for the decks. The packaging protects the cards from dust and debris and preserves them longer, not to mention it produces a ton of waste to throw that many tarot boxes and packaging away. Strange how tastes differ. My collection is darker and more horror based. Like Zombie Tarot. My prized possession is The shadowland Tarot. Haven't even shuffled those. I got fed up of llewelyn, just very same, same. Schiffer publishing is my favourite publishing house now. But, its so random people and their tastes 😃

i'm learning tarot, and i found your learn tarot series and another youtuber's series as well. i have a vintage style deck w keywords, i really love it. the original rws plaid deck, the sunstelo tuquoise style deck , and now the borderless rws, that i recently purchased. i'll probably get a more vibrant borderless later on . i am enjoying my decks. there are so many gorgeous decks

Wow! It’s amazing to see other people’s collection through the years. I’m holding off to add more because I’m trying to declutter and go for minimalism. It can be overwhelming as well. The artwork is amazing and some of them are pricey more than the others. You can tell the difference between the quality ones versus the ones that are cheap quality.

My great grandparents were mediums and taught us a lot of the old etiquette, which you don't really hear these days. One of the things they said is, do not purchase your own cards. Only use gifted ones.
Sweet collection! That said, I can't help but wonder why you don't have a label in front of each deck on the outside edge identifying the name of the tarot deck; makes finding things so much easier. Too, you don't have to rely on memory to remember the name of the deck. Just a thought. Do with it what you will. Thanks for the links of the cards below. One particular deck really caught my eye.

The fact that you keep a certain number of decks is great and inspirational. I’m hopefully going to do the same thing. What was your number again? I think around 30. I’m about to put another bundle of my decks into a FB group. Maybe just buy one new Kickstarter deck a year.
i'm learning tarot, and i found your learn tarot series and another youtuber's series as well. i have a vintage style deck w keywords, i really love it. the original rws plaid deck, the sunstelo tuquoise style deck , and now the borderless rws, that i recently purchased. i'll probably get a more vibrant borderless later on . i am enjoying my decks. there are so many gorgeous decks

Why do you keep your tarot decks without boxes?
They take up less space. Do you know how big one box is? I also keep them without their boxes, some in tiny bags.

I never had the courage to count them... I have been collecting playing cards and tarot since 2008 and I am pretty sure I have more than 200 but not sure... scared to face the decks...

They sell quite easily on eBay... heaps of 2nd hand cards on there.

Did you buy a bookshelf specifically for your decks? If so, can you share where you found it? I like the idea of displaying decks this way but I don’t think I’ve seen a shelving unit with so many shelves!
I love her shelf system as well and am also wondering where to find it!! I’m such a visual person, so having my decks out where I can see all of them would be soooo helpful!!
Could you share where you got these shelves from? I have a similar size collection and realized that laying flat is the best way to keep them but it takes up so much space! Love the way you set it up! So dreamyyyy😍 Tfs this was lovely to watch!
My great grandparents were mediums and taught us a lot of the old etiquette, which you don't really hear these days. One of the things they said is, do not purchase your own cards. Only use gifted ones.
I have around 30 decks.
I only use two of them though, and Albano Waite is one of them.
The rest I just collect.
Sweet collection! That said, I can't help but wonder why you don't have a label in front of each deck on the outside edge identifying the name of the tarot deck; makes finding things so much easier. Too, you don't have to rely on memory to remember the name of the deck. Just a thought. Do with it what you will. Thanks for the links of the cards below. One particular deck really caught my eye.
Yes i even mentioned that in the video. I am going to print the labels. But i also don't need to know the names of the decks to do the reading :)

I hate to be 'that' person, I hate myself for it, but I thought I'd mention it Just in case that's the reason you had trouble finding the authentic deck, the one you labelled in your list as 'Shadow escapes tarot' is actually called 'Shadowscapes Tarot'. I really like that deck, I use it a lot and thought I'd just mention it. I loved this video, all the decks are so beautiful and I appreciate the whole collection, thank you for taking the time to make this video :)
