Space Cat was amazed by the nastiness of that horn on start up! I told her that's the sound of a hard working loco. We enjoyed seeing freight on the move through the Wickford. Morning Paul, i was just reading about this latest offering from Graham Farish, I’m not sure I really like that colour on a class 47, but I like it because it’s a bit different🤔. Looks like it runs very well and has some good sound too!
As for the class 20’s always like to see them as they are another unusual looking loco. It may have been on another TH-cam video the other day that when they first come out that drivers complained that the vision wasn’t too good from the long nose end, so they decided to twin them up so they had a proper front view and for the extra power for some of the services they provided.
Mrs Exehaven is off work this week, so not sure how much cabin time I’ll get 😁

Another restful watch Paul. I do find it hard to I have to warm to a class 20. It just looks as if it were built back to front. I read somewhere, and I wish I could find it, that the reason the Class 20 was built that way was because ex Steam men were used to having the boiler in front o them. The Class 47 sounds good and as ever the scenery at Wickford was a delight to watch. Stephen

Lovely layout and some great stock. I have ordered that XP64 Class 47, but won't get back to the UK to get it for a few weeks. I look forward to seeing how the updated chassis performs. I've heard good things already. The previous chassis versions were very prone to pickup issues.

Morning Paul from the 09:37 Avanti service to Carlisle 😅. Time to spend the Christmas money in C&M. 😂. Oh that 47 looks "orrible" in that livery !! - and so did some of the 20's ! Where did you find these examples as I don't ever remember seeing them in any of the Farish catalogues - they must be really old - especially if Mr I can't remember the 47 in that livery. Ciao Avanti 👋 and good morning, Euan ☀️ The "orrible" 47 is the latest Bachmann Club model 😇 and represents the Test Livery for BR Corporate Blue 💙 in 1964 🫡 Back then, you were never having it so good 😉 The 20's are also a recent release from last year 🤔 and are "Depot Repaints" of traditional BR liveries 😍 As for the National Treasure 😇 his memory is definitely going 😥 he seems to have forgotten how to write Innocent Tales 😱 I think he's spending too much time ⏲️ with The Cidermen 🍎🍻 Many thanks for watching and have a fantastic time in Carlisle 💰🌟🚂 with best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️
Morning Paul, not so sure about the livery on the 47 and I certainly don't think I have ever seen it out on the tracks. The blue is fine, it's the orange panels for the BR logo. Considering you don't like sound you are certainly buying more sound fitted ones !
You must have been right to the back of the stock cupboard to find some of the other rolling stock. It's a long time since the weed killing train has been out and about.
As for the Admiral, he is a brave man getting submerged in all Norma Snockers has to offer. I just hope he comes up In time for NATO games with his periscope Down.

Greetings Somersex 🍎 and good morning Mark 👋 This locomotive had that livery in 1964 🤫 so I'm sure you didn't see it about 👶🍼🧷 The BR logo is on a red panel 🟥 the still camera shot just looks orange 🍊🫣 Since Hattons closed 😥 I'm mainly buying new releases 🤔 so it's worth the extra to get sound fitted and save finding and fitting decoders 😇 The poor Admiral is having to go on NATO 🌐 Manoeuvres in a Airfix plastic boat 😱 I think Dapol must have put the motors in the Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers 🥸 Many thanks for watching and very best wishes for health and happiness to all Piddle Folk from the other Ireland ☘️

The 20s are always a favourite of mine! That green one double heading with Redmire seemed to have non-standard lighting at the rear (at least it's different to Redmire) - is that something you fitted yourself? An enjoyable visit as always!
