Outstanding use of the protractor! And those mortars sound so good. I'm glad they added the sound of the rounds sliding down the tube. They've done such a good job with the sounds in Reforger.
@SirIronbeard I haven't spent much time messing with the Protractor to be honest. I didn't even know you could articulate it the way themat you did. Now I'm going to have to spend some more time messing with it with the mortars update.
I'm sure they can find a method to use it. Numpad style inputs for numbers e.g., Letters might be a bit more difficult to make ergonomically viable. Finer sliding motion by holding down L1, L2 for example... and then Rotation snapping and finetuning with R1/R2 ... Just examples.
It’s so funny to me that people don’t know you can double and quadruple the size of the protractor with middle mouse. Everyone draws a line and moves the protractor to where it ended. Just double it and multiply by 2 😂. To be fair its kind of a hidden feature
I know how to use the protractor from irl training. When I accidentally increased the size in game I had now idea what to do because there are no bigger protractors like that. And even if they do exist no one carriers them in the field. So if it’s removed because it’s a bug that’s fine because it also isn’t realistic. We would put a string in the center hole if the protractor wasn’t big enough. In game you’d use the line tool.

Ps5 use of tags, protractor etc. Is litterally impossible. They either can't be selected or can't be placed properly.

It's also a bug according to the patch notes of 1.3: "Fixed: It was possible to scale the protractor"
