This CVO is a stunning looker... Its got a great stance and those spoked rims really set it off. Unfortunately, HD suspension is not up to par for high performance riding, the front and rear definitely need upgrading they are going to be ridden hard.
@@NicoRides I haven't ridden an HD in years either, but its known that the HD stock suspension is just barely adequate for the stock engine performance(as you found out). My street bike is a Victory XC with a stage 2 build. The Vic has an air adjustable rear shock and I increased the fork oil weight. This gives me some extra suspension capability but the engine can still push the bike to more than the suspension can handle. If I ever go for more power, I 100% have to upgrade the suspension with the engine...
@@NicoRides It's sad that you pay 40-50 G's for a sweet CVO (love the blue color and the dark chrome) and they don't come with the best suspension manufactured, which is my opinion Ohlins. I have a pumped up 05 Road Glide with a 120hp twin cam, paint, stereo, PM wheels-brakes, totally redone. My own version of my CVO. The best upgrade I made was the chucking the rear HD air shocks to Ohlins (p/n HD 772). I used to wobble in fast sweepers and now I can push it with much better confidence. I did the front forks with Ohlins springs and heavy Bel Ray fork oil. I wanted to blow $2500 on the Ohlins inverted forks but I was happy with the outcome of the upgraded stock forks. You have a sweet CVO ride, upgrade the rear shocks and you will love it even more. Ride safe brother!

I’m excited that you gotta buy coming up I don’t think you will be disappointed so far I’ve been very happy with it they’re very very nice bikes to ride in a class over their own.
Is that Backrest from Harley. I was told by my dealer the new CVO seat doesn’t allow for a riders backrest because the rear pillion overlaps the front seat?
Harley does not make one or at least that’s what I was told by to different dealers. The 3 dealer told me to go to badboyzcyclez.com/products/cvo-backrest that’s who sells them. The great thing they are in stock, fits perfect with a CVO stock seat.
Great video. I have a 2021 CVO Road Glide in Black Hole with Graphics. I love this bike! Question: Did you have to change the seat to get the rider back rest docking station to accept a rider back rest? On my 2021, there is no slot to insert the rider back rest. How did yours fit?
Thank you BJ Benton, I have not changed the seat it’s original a 2 piece rider and passenger. Here is the link where I bought my back rest from. badboyzcyclez.com also know as CVO backrest. They are beautiful bikes really enjoying my CVO new videos coming up.
Hey Nico, thanks for all the videos! I pick my steel blue RG tomorrow. Very excited to get it. Looking to change out windshield before I leave dealer they carry the klock werks as well. How is the 9" for deflecting the wind over? I'm pondering between the 12 or 9 in dark smoke 9 looks great, just looking to hear how it's working for you with all the riding you been doing. Eventually I think I will be going with the tab slip-ons from what I researched the heat shields will fit to keep that scorched Chrome look also you can change and put the stack end caps on these as well after Drilling a couple holes but anyway just wanted to find out what you thought about that 9 inch and how it's working out for you I know everybody's different again that is a very beautiful bike can't wait to get my hands on mine safe travels to you always can't wait to see it with your chopped Tour pack I had to go with the King Tour pack do the wife needs to think she has to bring the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink with her LOL enjoy brother keep the knees in the breeze!
Hey David congratulations on your new road glide you’re really gonna love it. I like the 9 inch windshield I do wear a full face helmet I do catch some wind off the top of my head I do happen to be 6ft 1 inch. If you plan to travel very far and put down a lot of miles on this motorcycle would probably go with a 12 inch mostly we are going to have a passenger. They do look cool with a small The smaller windshield but after you get passed the cool phase and you’re out in the road, I think you would appreciate a 12 inch windshield. I feel you brother I travel with my wife every once in a while and I never seem to have enough room ever lol. I have a new videos coming up just haven’t had time to edit them been working like crazy. Thank you for watching and once again congratulations on your new CVO road glide

Great video! Really entertaining and well done! Bike is awesome! Question about rider backrest - you seem to have original seat, which rider backrest do you have and did you hbe to make any alterations to its fixing?
Thank you , the backrest came from this company here is the link to there webpage, badboyzcyclez.com/products/cvo-backrest. The backrest they sell does not require for you to modify the seat, you could use the same seat.
There is no excuse for a $40,000 motorcycle to shake at speed and make you feel like you need a better suspension. I would return it and demand my money back. If I'm spending 40G'S I want to be 100% pleased.
It is a lot of money for the bike. But the suspension definitely is an upgrade in the future planning on going with me a Wilbers suspension. Thank you for the comment
It’s a great first time HD bike for me, I always here everyone at work tell me about the CVO. They all said you won’t regret it and they are right. I’m a big guy also and the bike feels right in size.
@@ocalcetas1 , Everybody I work with who rides a Harley told me if you’re going to go out by the CVO just do it you won’t regret it and they were right.
I came really close to getting this, but the exhaust was the deal breaker. With aftermarket exhaust, I don't think they can match the color of black chrome, and the black chrome is killer.
And it is for this reason why I have not upgraded my exhaust. What is out there? I do not like it does not match. The good thing is in about a week or two they’re going to announce the new CVO’s and they were supposed to be way better than the one I currently have. Long waited and much needed in order to stay up with a competition.
I bought it at this place here’s the link badboyzcyclez.com/products/cvo-backrest. But I just found out Amazon also carries almost the same identical back rest for about a third of the price. They’re beautiful bikes congratulations thank you for watching.

Thank you, I’ll for the information
Thanks for your sharing the information
What an amazing motorcycle.
Thank you really enjoying this bike , thanks for watching
Great video. I have a 2021 CVO Road Glide in Black Hole with Graphics. I love this bike! Question: Did you have to change the seat to get the rider back rest docking station to accept a rider back rest? On my 2021, there is no slot to insert the rider back rest. How did yours fit?
Thank you BJ Benton, I have not changed the seat it’s original a 2 piece rider and passenger. Here is the link where I bought my back rest from. badboyzcyclez.com also know as CVO backrest. They are beautiful bikes really enjoying my CVO new videos coming up.
Beautiful Ride 👍 Greetings from South Africa
Thank you
Hey Nico, thanks for all the videos!
@@NicoRides hey Nico thanks for the reply I will definitely check out the 12-in I understand what you're saying I appreciate your input always had a bat wing fairing this is my first Road Glide so I've been spoiled to the Batwing just curious what it was comparable but looking forward to seeing them videos till then keep the rubber side down ride safe brother
Bad ass machine brother....
Thanks Brother
G’day Nico , which backrest bracket size do have - small , average or tall ? And how tall are you ? Lol
@@NicoRides Wanted to let you know that I ordered the same bike yesterday, should get it within two weeks. 😀
@@thomashietto5138 , wow that’s exciting congratulations you’re gonna enjoy this black a lot get ready for a lot of attention.
Beautiful bike Fam 🤙🏾🔥
Thank you
Nico, one more question for you. Can you recommend those riding boots visible in the video for warm / hit summer days in US?
Here is the link for the boots I was wearing www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/Mens-Hagerman-Boots/p/98627-18VM
@@NicoRides It is the most fun I've had owning a H-D, but that doesn't mean they can do better than they are.
How would something like this be for a first timer? Bigger guy here so naturally I’m looking at bigger bikes.
It’s a great first time HD bike for me, I always here everyone at work tell me about the CVO. They all said you won’t regret it and they are right. I’m a big guy also and the bike feels right in size.
My 2021 RG is my first bike ever. It’s fine for a first timer. I love mine.
@@ocalcetas1 , I like the look of the RG 😎
@@ocalcetas1 , Everybody I work with who rides a Harley told me if you’re going to go out by the CVO just do it you won’t regret it and they were right.
@BourbonMan: You will love your RG! If I was younger maybe the Lowrider ST.
WILBERS-Suspension - Germany, available in your country, too
Thank you i will look into this brand once I’m ready to upgrade
Nice review.
Thank you
CVO bikes don’t need anything, there perfect👍
That they are beautiful bikes.
Nice review!
Thank you
I came from bmw ×3 on my 2nd hd,
i prefer hd. It's funny i didn't think i would. You gotta own one 2 understand...
Beautiful Bike!
Thank you for watching
Love that color
Where did you get the rider backrest? Aftermarket? Thanks
The back rest came from badboyzcyclez.com/products/cvo-backrest. Thank you for watching
Nico, guestion about the windshield: is it 9’ sport blacked out? Thomas
It happens to be the 9” Klock Werks smoked
@@NicoRides Thanks Nico, have you been satisfied with it a) protection b) visual ?
@@thomashietto5138 , yes it’s a good windshield and looks nice enjoy. Thank you for watching
What back rest is that. I have a steel blue CVO as well
I bought it at this place here’s the link badboyzcyclez.com/products/cvo-backrest. But I just found out Amazon also carries almost the same identical back rest for about a third of the price. They’re beautiful bikes congratulations thank you for watching.
Legends suspension
thank you
@@NicoRides I had the Legends on my last Road Glide and am having them installed as we speak on my new CVO RG. Really enhances the ride quality and especially the stability in corners. Remember that front suspension is for performance and rears are for comfort.
@@usmcshepherdE9 thank you great advise learning a lot about the Road Glide
yes having legend axeo in front that's the solution.
Thank you That’s what I keep hearing legend is a very good suspension.
That rear tire is starting to flatten out.
I check the tire pressure before every ride, not sure if all HD has this but this new one has a TPMS built in that shows up on the dash showing TP.
U may want to consider put in S&S oil pump and cam plate and Lifter coughs.
Thank you for the great advise i will. Look into that. Is this something that I could get out the Harley Davidson store or I have to go to a specialty shop?
It's my dream bike.
They are beautiful
I have a klock werks on mine 2
the only thing I don't like is those spoke rims they got to go
The only thing about spoke wheels they’re very difficult to clean.
@@NicoRides facts.
Nice bike
Thank you
Pipes got to go! 😎
Yuuup it on the list to swap out soon.
If you want to keep the stock look check out Fullsac Performance cores. Had them on several rides and no complaints.
Thank you very true.
how much you pay for it?
45K out the door
It’s not black chrome, it’s called scorched chrome
OK thank you when I bought it the sales person and the service tech kept calling it black chrome.
so today I was at a different Harley dealer and your 100% right its called Scorched chrome, thank you for letting me know.
That bike almost had me trading in my 20 lol
They are beautiful bikes thank you for watching
Beautiful CVO! If You consider to upgrade the suspension, check out Million Dollar Bogans 131 build or my channel. I upgraded more than 10 RG CVOs during the last 12 months...
Thank you Stefan I will go over to both of those channels and see the videos. Thank you for watching.
Nothing like a vtwin
It should be flawless
I think cvos are worth it
50 grand you should not have one issue. You should not need any up grades to fix issues at 50 grand.
yeah 50k is a lot for a bike that still need upgrades. thank you for watching
No way for 42k....
Yessir 45k With warrantees out the door
Stock harley suspension is garbage even cvo models. They should roll them right from the showroom to the service department. That why I ride an Indian. 🤣
Talking to a service technician he was letting me know that most road glide and street glide models the suspension and frames are pretty standard across-the-board.
Harley Davidson suspension sucks ...get you some olins front and rear and you'll love it
Thank you for the advice going to look into it.
shouldn't need to upgrade anything on a bike this expensive wtf hd
That’s what say
You paid $50,000 and now you feel you need to UPGRADE your suspension ??
Man … Harley takes you for ?
Stop drinking the cool-aid !! 🤣🤣
I N S A N I T Y
Oh yeah that’s so true HD pains of owning a CVO
@@NicoRides You got the money Hermano ? No problemo 👍❤️
