BTD3 was the last time I consistently used the blade shooter, because BTD4 added the Ring of Fire, and it's broken in that game
And then 6 added The Tack Zone, which is the most satisfying thing in existence.

decimating is removing 1/10th, this is my 1 grammatical peeve, we have destroy, obliterate, murderificationate, so many real and fake words for this and you use the 1 word that means something else.

@@jar9074 Thanks, please use that instead of decimate, unless you remove 1 tenth of a thing such a slice of rectangular pizza since that is 10 slices and would be decimating. murderificationate is a beautiful word.
@@stm7810 I personally prefer "murderize", but to each their own. My real gripe here is that most cheeses contain barely any lactose.
Removing 1/10th is the historical defenition of decimate, I just searched it up and you can just use it as "removing a large proportion of"
"Armor" is only present in BTD 6. In these games, we call them Layers.

How is it present in BTD6? I don't know of a single case of a bloom having something you'd call armour in BTD6 that doesn't exist in BTD3. Except possibly the BAD bloom not being able to be stunned.

I really want you to do a 100% speedrun of the 2010s Flash game Days of Monsters.
The official Monster Guide that is linked within the game says that all three of your stats are important. Health lets you tank hits, Strength lets you beat levels faster, and Energy lets you use more active abilities. It also says to keep those balanced.
Another point it brings up is that you should check what the criteria for the Silver and Gold Medals are, then customize your monster to suit those. All of the Silver Medals reward you with bonus money, and while some of the Gold Medals also just give money, others give permanent boosts to your stats, three of them unlock hidden levels, the Gold Medal in the first hidden level you can get to (as in, the level with the Gold Medal to unlock it is the earliest in the progression of the three) gives you a camera that you can use to take screenshots (at least, on the site it was probably made for, which was Mofunzone), and one in the second hidden level sets the day counter back by 5 with no loss of progress, money, or upgrades (only useful if you want a high score because your total score is all the money you have looted [even if you've spent it, so it's not the money on hand] divided by the day count, which goes up after playing every level regardless of whether you won or lost).
To get 100%, you will have to get all of the Medals (Bronze Medals are earned for just completing the level and add more money, but that is just a bonus that only works the first time you win a level, Silver Medals have a specific task that, in all but one case, is an easier version of the Gold Medal task, and Gold Medal tasks for a level are always harder than that level's Silver Medal task) and purchase all 28 of the monster parts you have to buy (you start with one set for free; each set is composed of seven parts, and a monster must have one of all seven on there; there is room for customization). Fortunately, all of the parts are always the same price.
Have you tried changing tower "priority targeting" on your practice runs? Something like making the cannons shoot last/strongest would help with making sure lead are pop. It also helps maintain tower activity. (10 tower popping one balloon vs 10 tower popping 10 balloons)

For cannons, you can change their targeting to last and they wont miss nearly as much bloons cuz theyll blow up the first bloons tryna hit the last bloons. This works rly good on straight paths like that first line.
Close is another good one for similar reasons. And even strong is better than first here.

For these btd speedruns, set the bomb tower target priority to close, it allows it to attack the closest bloon to the tower, if you ever use sniper set the target priority to strong

I played this game countless hours as a kid. I always thought the moab was just a boat with bombs in it. I just now realized it was actually a big bomb haha.
Fun fact, there's some bug with the missile launcher where if you don't buy the all the upgrades in a certain order, you lose sound... The missiles launcher actually can make sound. It's been so long since I played this game though, I really couldn't tell you the proper order anymore
Let's see a speedrun of this with no monkey storms.
Once I reached a certain point past level 50 on that map, I was able to just cram fully upgraded super monkeys into every single patch of empty space. I wasn't limited by money, but by space. Just imagine an iPod touch struggling to render 50 MOABs in a row getting attacked by hundreds of super monkeys, and that was one of my favorite ways to kill time in high school.
Bloons devs: "Our new game has all sort sof interesting up grades and features. I hope our players try them all out!"

These videos are the most chill speedruns that I love to watch super late. What a fun time
I tried this strategy on the DSI version, and it worked well, though the track is much smaller with much less room for towers. At least that version has good music to make up for it.
I remember i used to do that thing where you right click while placing a tower, and then left click on the track and it would let you place the tower 𝑜𝑛 the track
I am a firm believer that the bloons in BTD are the evilest character in fiction that we never learn any evil things they do.
It’s never made sense to me how you lose lives when a bloon gets by.

I love how the strategy has changed from “overloading them with dart monkeys and nothing else” in BTD1, to “a mix between a bunch of heavy hitters” in BTD2, to “have like 20 spike shooters and a bunch of nukes”
Bloons TD3 is the MW2 for Bloons. This is when the series really popped off, popularity wise.

The tack shooter strategy was how I always played. Tacks, tacks, and preferably blades.
you can change the target priority. so having the cannon at the start target the last balloon rather than first, it does a lot of a better job crowd clearing

This game currently doesn’t work on cool math games because flash player is discontinued but the people that run the website are finding a way to make those games work again.

The reason why the missile launcher makes no sound, is because its so loud the dev had to silence it. The tower would burst your eardrums if you heard it.
