      The video is less than 4 minutes long. The shots of the ground and sky are insignificant and part of the channel's style. In comparison to the most popular TH-cam channels in the car reviews and test drives category, where half or even more focuses on the TH-camr.

      +pm R32 not in these cars, they're not quick enough to justify such a thing. They're not sport nor supercars and prices and maintainance are considerably more expensive and these little cars are not worth it. DSG is nice but it needs to be an option not the norm. I own a Polo GTI and a 500 Abarth. The GTI is obviously faster but it is rather annoying to drive and you end up not even bothering since the car does whatever the fuck it wants plus having 7 gears is just stupid in such a small car. There is no joy in ripping it when the car shifts every 3 seconds. No low end growling, no sustained high end roaring, the car is always in the middle and ready to accelerate hard again no matter what you tell it to do. That can be incredibly frustrating in traffic, speed bumps and just normal driving, an acceptable trade off with high end true sports cars, unacceptable in these small family hatches that are meant to be driven daily. The moment that DSG gearbox does anything funky, the moment I'm selling the fucking car.

      They should make them faster by making them lighter, then let the driver decide how to drive it. DSG is obviously faster but really, a Mustang GT from 2007 will destroy you and you'll look like an idiot in your cute car with supercar like transmission. That isn't the point of a hot hatch, it just needs to be fun. My third car is a 208 with 120 hp and no turbo and it sounds better, runs smoother, it's more comfortable than the almost twice as pricey Polo GTI. The Abarth pulls just as hard if not harder in the real world and it has 30 hp less and just 5 gears and no fancy DSG, it will still be comfortable to ride in traffic. Now a Golf is actually a bigger, heavier and in a whole other category but the Clio is a Supermini as is the Polo and they're also the most expensive ones of their class. The 208 GTI and the Fiesta ST are always regarded as better cars than the other two and they come only in manual. Don't get me wrong, the 1.4 twincharged Polo GTI is pretty epic, it looks like a miniature golf and that engine is amazing and the DSG actually suits the car as it is trying be posh or fancy as his bigger brother but coming from a lifetime of driving nothing but manual cars, I can only imagine how much fun it would be as a manual.

      I have the last gen of the clio 2 but dci with the Nissan engine. It will last forever.

      no, launch control, is not the same.
      anti-lag provides constantly fuel to the turbo, make it spin and generating high presure in the intake when you are not accelerating, to avoid the lag.
      launch control cut the sparks signal in a specific rpm range, not th fuel injection, so there is a very rich mix in the exhaust, adding the high temperature we have a explosions and that specific sound.

      I know the science behind simple launch control and antilag. This little Clio sound more like altered ignition timing in order to spool the turbo and hold the rpms steady ready to launch the car. Unburnt fuel exploding in the exhaust is what keeps the turbo spooled, and that is seemingly evident in the video.

      Its as simple as a rpm limiter cutting the spark signal and keep the injectors running, look for the bee*r rpm limiters videos and you will see, no turbo, but really big explosions :) sorry if my english is not good enough

    Renault will better spend money on improving service mentality, than developing sport cars.
    In some places, like Israel, the name Renault means "stay away".
    Spare parts are very expensive and in many cases you need a lawyer to get your warranty's rights.

    For 33 years I have owned and driven nothing else but... (another car make). Then my heart suddenly got captured by the Clio II RS phase 1, which in my opinion has a near perfect design.
    Funny to see how design can go from near perfect... to ruined... and then direct ugly... to boring... and now this mess!? I stick with my 2001 phase 1.
    Luckily taste comes in various forms - keep cool :-)

      dude it's a 1.6L engine, wtf do you expect? you can tune it maybe to 220-225hp but don't fucking complain. if you want something faster get a car with a bigger engine

      Day Night this is one of the best-looking hatches you can buy. Everything is functional. No fake vents, a REAL diffuser, wide track, real chrome exhausts.
