Nice report thanks! As for the legroom in economy 32" is about the same as on the United 787-8 - but on their website it says 31"-32", with most seats being 32".
Wow thank you for taking the video of the OR TAMBO. I enjoyed the video until you cut off the take off turning right over East Rand mall or Benoni. I like the decent but once again you cut off the most exciting part of the flight. Please could u upload an uncut version off take off and landing in Sydney 😮😢
Great presentation of a not so great airline . Those meals were well below what I would find acceptable in both quantity and quality . The first meal looked like a stain on the bottom of a bowl rather than a meal , add to that the lack of wifi on QF International and it all adds up to a below par experience . It’s no surprise that QF is on the nose with many , and it has a lot to do to get its reputation back up there .
The same thing with the liquids at the gate happened the first time I flew to Australia from Dubai. I’d just bought a big bottle of water from duty free and had to chuck it 🙄 I would’ve finished the bottle well before we would’ve landed into Sydney. And yet when you fly internally in Australia you can take as much liquids though as you want 😂 doesn’t make sense
One bad thing was for economy class, if they were seated behind a lavatory, they would get no screen, as shown in 46:03, whilst people in business/premium economy had gotten larger screens infront of them.
@@peterhoebarth4234 Over 2 million passengers from Sydney to South America, another half million from Melbourne Australia to South America. Half a million from Johannesburg to Sydney. Then there are the flights from New Zealand to Buenos Aires and Santiago. We know how to tell the time, it's a 12 hour flight from Sydney to Johannesburg.
Your videos are the most complete, I hope they can continue
Thank you for detailed description,Im planning my first flight out of Africa, after 61 years on the planet❤❤❤
Wow awesome love to hear engine roar long flight 12 hours 😮. Hope y did have great time in Johannesburg
The liquids check at the gate happens in other countries too. Off the top of my head, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia for instance.
😢 sorry, I normally love these videos. But I did not enjoy it as there was no talking and made it very boring video to watch
It is although the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand are seemingly exempt for some reason. Singapore - all security is done at the gate except at T4
Wow! What an elegant wing the deadline has!
i must compliment you on that steady hand with the camera
finally video from this exclusive route thx
Thanks for the video - how tall are you, to get an idea of legroom...

Yes I will upload a separate uncut version of the departure and arrival. I have only just returned from another holiday so it might take some time
Thank you @dibsp18
What a wonderful thing to do in acknowledging the Aboriginal people. Well done Quantas.
Pretty quiet cabin...really nice
amazing long flight ❤❤❤❤
Was there any wifi on this flight?
Fantastic thank you
I'm making the 17hr15min DFW-SYD Qantas flight next week. I'm honestly nervous haha.
How’d it go?
I couldn't take a bottle of Pocari Sweat onto my Jetstar flight from Bali to Australia. This is indeed a thing
Nice video
Nice long flight! 👍
The liquid rule was also enforced when we fly back to AUS from both BKK and Bali....I think it is an Australia rule.
It is although the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand are seemingly exempt for some reason.
Actually did this same flight in May of this year.

It appears to happen in Asia and Africa as far as I know

The tvs flip out from inside the armrest along side with the traytable
Wow awsome traveling video sharing NEW FRIEND JOIN HERE FROM NEPAL 👍👍
잘보고가요👏
Very soon Qantas deploying an A380 on that route
Love to have seen the Non vegetarian meals
They always check for liquids, aerosols and gels, since 11 September 2001.
Yes but only in some countries do Australia insist on a 2nd check at the gate.
22:45 where is the rest of the meal? 😂😂
❤Don't fly with them when I cannot look out the window when want to.... 😮
28:15 Qantas is terrible for not feeding u 2 proper meals!! 😡😡
Pretty sure they do
Qantas is a flying public bus with wings 😂
20 Hours is the real Flight, Earth is flat.
I completed this same flight in May of this year. The flight took just under 12 hours.

Rather pathetic dining options for an international carrier. More budget style really.
What do you honestly expect flying out of Johannesburg?
@@pavman225and all of the other airlines that fly out of joburg? Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, BA?
@@pavman225 That's a stupid response, clearly not aware of what Qantas is going through since after covid
Budget style is paying $$ for the crappy meals.
