When Patagonia got the Seal contract they were fine, but they outsourced work I believe & the next batches were ripping.. like alot.. heard from a few...probly biggest contract they ever had tho so..but it's a good company
Yea the two pair I’ve bought from orbital had tears inside the main pockets, I got super lucky with no ink stains or rips anywhere else, also bought two field tops and never had any rips in the tops, but have heard they have a higher chance of having ink stains. I believe they are stained to keep from authorized use outside units, but not sure how true that is
Ey Bro quick tip: (while this is a taste thing) maybe try putting some speech over your range footage as well. This keeps Engagement high considering the current avrg attentionspan
I personally like the cut out of the gen2 Crye precisions. The reason why I like the Gen 2 so much is I've never blown out the crotch while running in the Gen 2's. But on another note, the patagonians you're reviewing here actually used to be owned by crye before they sold them to Patagonia.
@SPECTREXACTUAL Yeah, to get ahold of them, you gotta know somebody that's active duty in the 75th Rangers, the ODA's, or 10th mountain. Or if you have the money, crye precision will do you a custom make, but you would have to call them.
The main problem with Crye is losing kneepads when youre crawling about. The fit and quality of materials is excellent, but the amount of times ive lost kneepads in heavy FIWAF training snaps me. The Gen 3s were also a bit hot for Afghan, and the map pocket is just a bit too small. If anyone has suggestions for pants better in those regards i would love to hear them!
No offense but Not even watching because Patagonia combat pants are so bad, guys I work with including me will go buy other pants out of their own money rather than wear Patagonia. Including Amazon and air soft pants. I will never buy Patagonia in civilian works because their stuff is so bad at work.
The Patagonia Level 5 PCU pants are absolutely amazing. Not every piece of Patagonia kit is terrible. The PCU stuff is insanely well made and super breathable. I use it for anything from training to camping to just general wear.
Sounds like someone who's never actually used UF Pros, the quality is on par or better than Cryes in many regards, some of the features for UF Pros are odd and almost over built but you can tell they spent a TON of time thinking about all of the features in each clothing item they produce.

Haven’t gotten to try gen 2’s yet, been trying to get my hands on a set for some time. Hopefully in the future

Especially if you are going hands on, if you don’t have them tucked they will be across the room from you
Agreed, a lot of our guys started putting the whole knee pad into the knee pocket to stop them from ever coming out

Anyone spending the money on these is just stupid.
Being issued is another.

UF Pro is the best!) Proven in Ukraine
Absolutely not. UF pro is the same quality as true spec or proper,
nobody likes them because all you do is blow out the crotch when you're running.
I’ve used UF Pro, lmk if you’d like to see a review of that, haven’t worn them in a while due to the thickness doesn’t do well in extreme heat
@@outlawsix1322 UF Pro is not the same or less quality as them. Don't even try to say that UF Pro crotches blow out just because theirs do.

@terrarecon Nah, UF pro is crye precision price with the quality of true spec.
