- Die neue Achterbahn am Nürburgring hatte im Rahmen der Formel1 einen ersten
Startlauf. Täglich in Betrieb wird sie ab August 2009 sein und die Passagiere in 2,7sec von o auf 217km/h katapultieren, bevor es über eine Schleife zurück in den Ring°Boulevard geht.

Richtig geile Achterbahn, schade das die Achterbahn nach nicht mal eine Woche schon wieder geschlossen wurden ist.
Nicely done! I can immagine what the waiting times are like during racing events. I'd hazard to guess it's probably in the range of 2-3 hours long.
Yep, sieht wirklich klasse aus das Gerät.
Sehr schönes, filigranes Schienenprofil und optisch sehr schöner Züge. Sieht auch so aus, das der echt vernünftig gefertigt wurde der Track, so harmonisch wie der Zug da durch gleitet. Hoffentlich klappt alles bis zur regulären Eröffnung.
I like how at 0:33 everyone's heads turn to look at the coaster.

It has been used, not been banned at all. Two defects in the launch system mean its opening has been. On 3 September 2009, a series of explosions in the pneumatic system caused injuries to seven people, and shattered windows. So hate to burst your bubble but it isn't banned

Hope this doesn't endure the same fate as Formula One at Pattaya Park. Could this become the Half Life 3 of roller coasters?
Yeah at this time the coaster only reachs up to 60 miles per hour oder near to 100km/h because the coaster would be too fast to go trough the curve at the end.
Also, there was a technical problem a few weeks ago, so they only can ride about 130km/h or 65 miles per hour through the whole track. In a few weeks, they want to be ready to drive full 217km/h ;)

My friends wanted to go on this while they were there. It was shut due to a launch system failure all weekend.

@guitarshop40 should've opened last year, but because of launch system problems, they're gonna have to push the official opening date a year back AGAIN.
it's supposed to open 2011.

@kingcoaster999 Well, it might not because it only goes 134 on the launch. It then slows down to half the speed before the first curve/hill.

Too bad we can't watch soon this ride running even in the videos. Sounds like our wishes to go on this are almost dying away. :(
Si triste qu'on arrive pas à regardé c'tte attraction roulé, tout de suite, même dans les vidéos. Paraît que nos souhaits pour sa, vont presque s'en allé. :(

Zwar kann der alte Weltrekord von Kingda Ka (206 km/h) übertrumpft werden, aber zwischenzeitlich wurde mit Formula Rossa ein neuer Rekord-Halter (240 km/h) eröffnet.
this looks like one of the biggest coaster fails since the circular loop. it just launches. slows down to 100 KPH less then top speed, and does a little rising turn thingie.

Not the 1st launch in the video...which is the fastest part of the ride.
kannte ich leider noch nicht,aber ich hab mir die grad mal aneschaut,sieht auch geil aus,also so vom sehen her,würde ich beide gleich finden (blue fire/fluch von novgorod)Was natürlich der unterschied ist ,der Drop zum schluss ;D
this launches, goes straight for a bit, does a turn thing and goes straight some more and then it's over

@Rct3Mad300 Why do they slow it down immediately after the launch? It's not worth it unless it keeps going that fast or at least goes up a huge hill with that kind of speed.

This Is Around 130MPH, But doesn't succeed it's top speed due to technical problems for over 2years now. It will only reach around 60 at the moment but the ride when finished it will launch fully 130 and slow down afterward like Formula Rossa. It's at Ferrari World
Was beim Fluch von Novgorod auf videos leider nicht erkennbar ist da es im ddunkeln passiert ist die beschleunigung, was während der Fahrt aber deutlich zu bemerken ist das sie 1,2sec schneller Beschleunigt als Blue Fire.... aber die Persönliche meinung zäht ja auch noch!!! jeder hat da seinen Favoriten :D

@IceLife1023 yeah i am serious at least 1,5 years. 1st expoldes the pressure tank with injured workers and then software problems. hope they get it done next year when i am on site. XD

Ring Racer is now open, this is no longer the fastest or even the second fastest as the launch has been decreased to under 100mph.
This is now the 7th fastest coaster in the world....Formula Rossa is 1st and 149mph followed by Kingdaka at 128mph, followed by Top Thrill Dragster at 120mph, followed by Dodonpa at 106mph, followed by Superman:Escape from Krypton and Tower Of TerrorII at 100mph then Ring Racer at 99.4mph

@Lachgummi22 um dich auch noch zu korrigieren. Die Achterbahn heisst Kingda Ka und ist in New Jersey/USA stationiert und keinesfalls in Japan.
But the important difference is, that TTD has lap bars.

Aber das ist nur mal die "schnellste Achterbahn der Welt".Und man muss schon sagen,das eig. schon was besonderes ist und man damit fahren möchte,zumindestens ich.
Aber Blue Fire ist die Modernste Achterbahn Europas,sowie hat den größten looping europas,hab ich gehört.Ist aber auh besser,nur die möchte ich auch bald mal fahren ;-)
Der Fluch von Novgorod toppt Blue Fire ohne Probleme.... der Ring Racer ist von der Geschwindigkeit und der Beschleunigung nicht zu Toppen.... Aber Fluch von Novgorod kommt so schnell keiner ran!!!

What's pathetic is that it doesn't leave the launch track @ 135 mph. I's slowed down to ~70. Also, there's a windshield- whatever happened to coaster spirit!

Am besten aber ist der Boulevard, durch den die Bahn durchlaufen soll. Ich hab da noch nie mehr als 5 Personen gleichzeitig gesehen.
Wie alles, was die Größenwahnsinnigen da oben auf den Berg gebaut haben, ein absoluter Flop.

soll ja schon seit 2 jahren laufen datt dingen. ich war auch schon 2 mal da dieser zeit, 1ma wars 1ne woche nach schumis eröffnungs fahrt bzw "schlussfahrt!" und da war se schon zu bzw nicht erröffnet. Warum braucht man dafür 2 jahre? versteh ich einfach net. nächtes jahr soll endlich soweit sein nur dann isse wahrscheinlich net mehr die schnellste achterbahn. Denn die leut in Dubai baun derzeit die "Formula Rosso" mit 240 km/h spitze und soll diesen monat schon fahren.
