Welcome back, Bexar!!! I really started watching your channel when I was getting ready to get my first pressure canner. BTW, the canned meatloaf came out great! About got me kicked out of a canning group at the time when I was showing it off. LOL Who knew? So good to see you back on TH-cam right when everyone is realizing that prepping just makes sense. It's saved our behinds more than once just with the normal ups and downs of life, well before this double-digit inflation we have now. Anyway, glad to see you on again... Don't be put off by my handle here. I don't remember what my name on TH-cam was before but this one came about when TH-cam was trying to get everyone to put their real name on their videos and I refused. Bexar we miss ya! I am so jealous of your new stove. You were my first person I watched on YT. I am still using the mesh food dehydrator inserts that you sent me when you bought your new dehydrator. I just bought another on to replace my old one.
About time Bexar! I miss all of the original youtube Preppers such as Bexar also Katskradul,Deb And Ted, and many more. Sooo great to see Bexar back .I started my prepping years ago with folks like Bexar. So lucky I did especially during Hurricane Harvey and the snowmagedden Texas had then toilet paper bat flu. Still canning and stacking to the rafters. Prep on snd ignore the trolls.

My prepping was really tested during covid19 ep! But I’m happy to say I was able to get my husband to admit he was thrilled I’d prepped! We had TP when others didn’t. I was able to keep my elderly mother & a disabled brother afloat too!

Bexar its so good to see you on youtube! With all the knowledge i learned from you and others years ago, its helping my entire family in these times. I do believe there are more and more people starting to learn how to be self sufficient and stretch their dollars to go further now especially in these times. I whole heartily agree on your assessment of canning and that being the most versatile method for most. I would also recommend a bidet instead of toilet paper. Since I had one installed I rarely if ever use TP. Its a paradigm shift that makes you realize how brainwashed we are in America. I have gotten many family members and friends to switch over and they love it. Even the ones that said they would never use one love it. There are some that can wash the front and back side which if you know where i am going with that can make cleaning and feeling fresher much easier. I miss you, Bexar Prepper!! We have a freeze dryer too. Right now I'm having a hard time with the seal too. I think the door is loose. I will wash the rim gasket too. Thank you. I do love my freeze dryer and have been using it a whole lot! I am learning to can as well. Prepper Potpourri is one of my "go tos" in the canning world. I have been able to email her and get answers. I have found other canning you tubers that are great to help me out. Great video. I hope I an catch you live some time. Thank you!!

I love my gas stove. I am the same as you Bexar I wanted a gas stove for so long and this last year I got it. I've even put a mark on the dial where it keeps it at ten pounds. I must say if you don't have electricity you can still dehydrate and can but a freeze dryer is expensive and requires electricity. Just saying.
I live in Canyon Lake... on a hill I’ve been clearing and establishing ways to hold up erosion for 3 yrs... I’m almost 50... enddd up working/ clearing, building the house kinda alone... I finally told my husband it was his to lose because I couldn’t do it alone... we got the house done, it’s beautiful with beautiful views but it’s still up to me to establish anything... chicken, goats, fences... I can’t even find young kids to help.... I’m tired... we are facing a rough world and I just don’t know if I can do it because... this mountain is too overwhelming...
We didn’t physically build the home, but 2 builders didn’t do their jobs so it was like we had to manage the money and the contractors... it was awful... our immune system got low after the build and within a mth of closing we both got Covid ... husband almost died... was intubated for 2 weeks... got ECMO lung bypass and pulled through... Im just tired... not even done unpacking because I’m caning beans and trying to make sure we have a pantry to feed us for at least a year
