So I see that as in the description it has a another name so which one do you think you like? Or?
I prefer this crossing named after the station, so Pevensey & Westham
You look nice!
So there is a station called pevensey so it’s nearby I guess
This crossing is next to Pevensey & Westham station
Which way of the line is the train coming from and to?
Coming from Eastbourne heading towards Hastings
First
Ok
Eugh. British crossings take far too long.
The whole 'risk aversion' of basically having to give so much time to allow trains to stop, without even properly adjusting for train distance and time for each train's size and speed... so annoying.
This is supposedly one of the more efficient types of full barrier crossing as its an Obstacle Detection type. The crossing is activated by the train and the crossing automatically scans for obstructions. However, there is still a couple of minutes to wait for a train.
I now I was at Newhaven level crossing and I waited for 10 minutes
