- Planespotting at O'Hare Airport from early June. We start off with some cool taxi patterns since runway 10L/28R was closed for a few days. It was nice seeing a UPS 767 arrival, EVA Air old livery come with some lighting left, and a delayed SAS and Finnair. The latter half of the video featured an MSC Air Cargo 777-F which was my first time getting a close up arrival shot of. For some reason, a P-51 Mustang came to O'Hare that day and was departing after refueling. That must've been one expensive landing and refueling fee. American departure to Paris was actually the flight from the previous night that had been delayed and further rescheduled. It was nice seeing Avianca return seasonal service to O'Hare. Finally, the Meridian An-12 stole the show with its rare arrival from Laredo, Texas.

Thank you very much!
Great variety and handy, too, that you've listed AC type. Most look alike these days. It appears that the MD80-90's are all but gone.
Thanks! Yeah sadly most of them are, but Miami still gets some.
Chicago O‘hare is very cool! Normally when I fly there (I’m a pilot) I’ll try to watch some planes before I leave
That's awesome! Yes we have some great spots and nice variety.
@@ohareplanespotting Yeah Chicago O’hare is amazing when the sunsets. You can get some cool shots
Nice catches! Keep up the great work! God bless you and your family every day! :)

Very nice video.
My kids and I really like to watch planes take-off and landing especially the jumbo ones.
Would you please recommend a spot for us at ORD?
Yes of course! The go to spot is the hill which is a gravel area off Irving Park Road and South Access Road in Bensenville. It’s a bit tricky to find, but follow the orange cones and landside perimeter road until you get to a bend with a nice view.
Good stuff here!
Glad you like it!
That North American P-51D mustang was at ORD right I mean I know it says plane spotting at ORD but was that ORD though?
Yeah he came to ORD funny enough from Terre Haute which had an airshow there that same day. I’m not sure why he chose ORD over MDW, DPA, or PWK, but still a pretty rare sight to see.
Yeah for sure that was awesome to see
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Is it fair to say O’hare is one of the more spotter friendly airports?
Yes.
What's the best place for plane spotting at ORD?
The hill, a gravel area off of Irving Park Road and S Access Road.

Yo he got Turkish just went on them on July 7th!
Ooh nice how was it? I’m flying on them next month.
@@ohareplanespotting very nice experience it is mostly a 9-10 hour flight they have really nice pasta with overall good meal options and one thing is to expect amazing kind wonderful flight attendants and overall great I flew with them 24 times (and btw I am not Turkish)
@@ohareplanespotting and also you might to expect not getting off the jetway or on the jetway but mostly they use airstairs
So you mostly will be getting off by air stairs rather then jetway ( i am not saying always just mostly)
Good to know
