This is the biggest brain thing I have seen this year so far!!!! Looks great!! Way better than the reeee looking standoff rotating thing that everyone has been using
Glad to see someone try out the cascade lift, because I thought about using it earlier on in the year. I will be looking at how you guys do at competitions. What state are you in?
hey 448X do you guys have the program posted anywhere for this bot because I like learning and looking at codes. I would like to see how you guys programmed this bot
It is set up like the cascade lift that team Dreadnought made for their In The Zone season, I would suggest checking their video our if you want to learn more
y is the other one better this one can do very thing the other one can do and is easier to store and use. on top of that it seems significantly easier to capture caps
This is probably best cap intake I have seen. The only change I would make to it is have like two preset locations if possible (flipped and down) so that I could maximize the gear ratio for this intake. But it is by far the best intake I have seen
ROLLING ROLLING ROLLING LIKE IM STARGAZZINGGGGG
Pretty sure its "Got me stargazing" but me too
This is the biggest brain thing I have seen this year so far!!!! Looks great!! Way better than the reeee looking standoff rotating thing that everyone has been using
Yeah we were going to use a spinning standoff passive claw, but I will show this to my team and we might do it.
Glad to have given this team excellence award at a tourney yesterday.

Cali
Fuck, that's where i am, i'm scared
@@raymondwilliams379 crap me too
I'm pretty sure it's actually a continuous chain lift.

Great job y’all. Crazy cool robot.
Congrats on tournament champs today!!!
Love the use of the cascade love seeing it used again
very nice, great job on the lift
I really like the design. Good job
Wow you make it look so easy. Great job
Really nice! Great job!!
so many people have hole-counted your cap flipper/intake...
:)
How the heck did y'all get 40K views?!

Can you please share the motor distribution of the robot.
I'm sorry we cannot share that information as it is very specific to our design
hey 448X do you guys have the program posted anywhere for this bot because I like learning and looking at codes. I would like to see how you guys programmed this bot
Unfortunately we do not reveal any specific details including the code, since these are elements very specific to our robot.
Btw hope to be paired with you guys this weekend out at beckman bot looks solid and I love the simplicity of the cap intake
@@Tonydudeo 6007R as of this year
is Aeden on the team any more

I am very interested in the base of your robot. How do you connect the drive?
Is there a photo?
I'm very sorry but we cannot give out photos or any details given that these are specific to this design

That's a pity, but I still thank you.
I’m with W.W. Lewis Middle in Louisiana an we still haven’t gotten our robots because of the capacitor shortage.
When I try to be free shipping but fail
This is still super cool, like really, it’s probably not meant for what free shipping is
Could you guys explain your ball intake? I can see the first stage with the rubber bands on sprockets but how does it work from there
Sorry we can't really explain the in depth details
yeah definitely stealing that claw thing design, we were already doing a cascade lift but that claw is genius.
What're the specs on the flywheel? Like gear ratio excluding motors, # of motors, and torque/high speed/turbo? Sorry for all the Qs. Awesome bot!
Sorry we can't really explain those type of details as they are very specific to our design
@@448xecho2 No problem! Great robot though!
What is the gear ratio on your guys flywheel? I just can’t seem to get the right one. Thanks :)
The Science Genius nah chief
@@Tonydudeo Why not chief?
We cannot give out those details since they are specific to our robot. Sorry
My robotics team likes your drive train, does it use sprockets and chains or gears.
We used sprockets and chain for this train
What is your range for shooting the ball with your flywheel. (What is the maximum distance you can shoot a ball from?)
Can shoot from all areas of the field
So, do you have a separate button for a specific position on the field for the controller? If not, how do you control how fast the flywheel has to go?
We just have 2 varying speeds and we know which speed correlates to which tile on the field
All right thanks
Nice ending 😂
what are you using for the sliding points?
I'm not really sure what you mean by "sliding points"
@@448xecho2 sorry. So what size did you cut the spacers to for the roller bearings?
Love the lift, how is it set up?
It is set up like the cascade lift that team Dreadnought made for their In The Zone season, I would suggest checking their video our if you want to learn more
Great this is my first year in competition, in Texas, and would like to build a robot just like this
Great robot! Is the chain lift separate motors or is it geared together?
Lift is driven by two motors on the same axle
Any tips with how to use plastic hoods
Make sure it is very well supported
I can't wait to see you guys at Worlds!! :))
:(
@@448xecho2 ?
@@fakedudeperfect4200 Our team was removed from Worlds
Sweet bot! How did you connect the stages of the linear lift?
Loosely inspired off the Dreadnought In the Zone Cascade lift
What size standoffs do you use on flywheel
I'm very sorry but we aren't comfortable releasing that information given that it is unique to our design
nice flywheel looks quick
How much did you guys spend on this ?? And what parts
I'm sorry we don't really feel comfortable disclosing that information.
Hello guys 6526 here, saw you last weekend.
Can the robot put the cap on the high post?
Yes it can
Whay kind of lift is this???
It is a cascade lift
gives me strong FIRST robotics vibes lol
Love the cap flip at 1:36 !!!
standoff collector is better
@@Tonydudeo is it thou
@@Tonydudeo please elebarote on why its better than this honestly pretty great design (good job guys)
Are you guys in the Moyer limit or was this just for fun not for comp?
Not really sure what a Moyer limit is
448X Echo moter* 😂😂
Yes we are using only 12 motors, and just for the clarification I believe it is physically impossible to use more than 12 on a cortex.
448X Echo lmao true 😂😂😂sry I’m stupid
448X Echo you guys have an awesome robot! Good luck at competitions :)
Nice robot but m new to robotics and getting ideas for my robot
Can I ask a question
You just did :)
I love robots with other teams stickers on them for no apparent reason!!!
lets 1v1
I would recommend not using imes bc they cause disconnects due to static
Why are they scoring for the other team? WTF???
Strength Points are key!
Yo. What's the story with V5 for u guys?
We just recently shipped out our trade-in
oo mgod
standoff cap collector way better but overall good bot id never use that cap collector

Your robot is awesome but please change that song it is DISGUSTING!!!
yeah thats gonna be a no from me chief
That song sounds smooth as honey smh might need to clean your ears out.
Jesus Fernandez album of the year 2018 btw. Their robot their video their music. Just mute it 😂😂
