In this video we are going to focus on The Impressions then and now. The Impressions were an American music group originally formed in 1958. Their repertoire includes doo-wop, gospel, soul, and R&B. Inductees into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. They are also 1998 Grammy Hall of Fame inductees for their hit "People Get Ready" and winners of the Rhythm and Blues Foundation's Pioneer Award (in 2000). The group's long career spanned over 60 years at the time of their retirement in 2018. Its members include Jerry Butler Curtis Mayfield, Sam Gooden, Arthur Brooks, Richard Brooks, and Fred Cash.

Jerry Butler is my favorite Impressions member because he is alive and living. Also, I enjoy Curtis Mayfield, because his music is also great, whether with the Impressions or as a solo singer. There is no music like soul music!

It would of been correct if you did not leave out the two other founding members of the group. Two brothers by the name of Brooks!!!! Shame on you for for a big omission about The Impressions!!!!
