That setup was perfect. Tables on both sides with boxes in the middle. I wouldn't change a thing. The older I get, the less I will stoop to look at things and I see you have quite a few elderly people there who I'm sure would much prefer tables. Just my 2¢ worth.

Those baskets were fab! The thing is the kind of customers who buy them like to go look for them at thrift stores not flee markets. You had many things that I'd personally buy but I wouldn't know how to find flee markets. PS that black clock, old looking jars and wooden items are very farmhouse style and would be all sold out among the right buyers. I loved all that. Have you tried reconditioning the clock? Clean it up, fix the mechanism and paint it with white or cream chalk paint, with a little distressing at the edges. You can sell it on Etsy for about 30 dollars plus P&P. Also the baskets are quite light just bulky. But would be cheap to ship. Someone would buy them if you could send them. Mamy people find it difficult to get around But still want those items to de irate in farmhouse style. Brand new baskets on Amazon are expensive so you could do well. It's just a hassle of photographing stuff to present it nicely and listing. But better than throwing it away.

I don’t really like digging in bins unless it’s all the same thing, like the toys, I might look, but if it’s full of all different random things, I won’t bother with it. Box lots aren’t bad though because you can see what’s there without really having to dig through it.

I always like my Taco with a little Salsa! Those pink and blue plastic plates and stuff, I think that they would do better on Etsy and they would be easy to ship. I would think also you get more for them on Etsy than at the fleamarket. Great video!

Try putting bright eye catching table cloths on those tables...makes them look more inviting to customer's and makes the items stand out. A lady gave me that tip a few years ago, and it works! Sales up 50% since!
Great video. Pink and teal melmac/melamine dishes would probably sell on ebay or etsy better. They are 50's era dishes. My Aunt had some...they wear like iron and still look great after over 50 years of use! Very collectible to anyone decorating their kitchen in the retro look. Oh yeah..just a thought about bins on the ground vs. tables....I'm of the 'older' age now and I appreciate not having to bend over to dig through bins...maybe one table of bins and the rest on the ground would be of help to your older customers...Thanks for taking us along on Flea Market Day 🤗🙋♀️
The "Barrel" you sold for $10? Are you talking about that leather fire bucket? Those things are selling on eBay for $50 and up (like over $100 - the really old ones, ornate & "historic" can go for $400=$500)... of course, some of those have the lids.
People like me prefer tables, bending and getting on the ground hurts. Put the flats on the tables so they can dig in the bins on the tables, which is what we did.
I knew that Welcome sign would sell on it's own, and I'm glad you got more money for it. Even if you hadn't sold it, though, you could still scrap it: which is awesome business: multiple ways where you can make money from one item. Ok, you tried tables at this Flea Market, and they didn't work as well: you try something new, and learn from the experience. Just a question, have you tried putting the tables at the back of your booth, and turning them 90 degrees, so they sit paralell to your van? From what I saw, everyone lines their tables up in rows, trying something different might make that merchandise and your booth stand out a little more. That will also define the Shopping area, away from your storage area in the van. Generally, I suggest you put high dollar, single items on the tables. Box Lots go on the ground. TOYS go on the ground, so kids can see them... that's a retailer trick. Just as a general note: Color will draw folks into the booth, because it looks like there is interesting things to dig through; even if you just hang colorful things on the van, it grabs attention from across the lot. Folks might not shop on the way to the back to see what that colorful thing is hanging off your van, but they will shop on the way out. Wrapping your Boxes in old holiday wrapping paper, to add a splash of color on the ground, might grab more attention, and help those boxes hold together longer. Color helps you stand out, especially when the flea market is full of other vendors. Just a suggestion. You came; cleared out some inventory, evaluated some junk to throw out; made some money; tried a new display technique; got some more inventory; and still made money. It's a good day! I would buy some baskets from you ,we used to get apples an stuff in them . Then make liners and use them for laundry baskets ! So many cool stuff you have ....

Maybe the gentleman with the quarters has difficulty seeing and pre sorts his change to make it easier when he pays. I know the blind sometimes fold different denominations in different ways to tell the difference.
Those plastic plates cups etc will sell well if you place them on the table as they will sell better and that stuff is expensive . Sell it at 25 cents each xxx
Wouldn't be surprised if the middle quarters in that stack were Canadian. I would do that when "rolling" coins to deposit as a kid. I think there is/was a rule that there can be only so many in a roll before the bank won't take it. But I grew up near the border, where it was common, so maybe it's different elsewhere.
We have storage auction pirate here in California and later in the day he reduces everything to $1.00 and after that he gives everything away for free. He watches your videos and really likes you. You should watch his videos too.
Not saying it in negative way,I did the flea market and garbage picking all my life,and once you learn the skills,you will never have to worry,you can always survive.We lived in Tallahassee,Florida.our bills would run around 2300 a month and two days a weekend at flea market and two days a week garbage picking in the wealthy neighborhoods,we did just fine.I love it so much,I’ve recently been back diving,lol.i love dumpster diving,saving corporate waste and feeding the homeless with the good food I find.

Sort of a slow day, it seems. I had a good sale today, I worked at home for a couple of years on lawnmowers and had a few batteries laying around, I took 16, plus two car batteries to the scrap yard and got $64.40 for them!

I actually get quite rude by the end of the market, after no sleep and a stream of thieves and on sellers, I eventually wear thin and unload lol humiliate them by putting the price up, negotiating up instead of down lol they don't like that lmao
Will you try putting the tables in a V pattern to draw them in towards you and the most interesting pieces or eye catching items. Use those baskets and put things in them under the tables.
