+PilotOblackbird I agree, or take a break for half an hour or so then play again if you don't have a whole day. This has helped me with transitions between chords sometimes. For example, I was learning Tears in Heaven by Clapton the other day, and I found myself having to consciously find positions for my fingers every time I changed chords. Then I took a break for some time, did some homework or some other unrelated activity, and when I came back I realized I could do the changes reflexively without any trouble.
@@ErikBoesen yeah the test helps in developing muscle memory, and even listening to the same song to get the rythem correctly also help even without a guitar

I agree with you, and want to point out that if you do this, it will help you to be able to sing and play at the same time. Some people find this to be very hard, but if you sing out the chord changes it makes it all come together and easier. :)

I have taken guitar lessons at 3 or 4 times in my life, once a week and in-person with a teacher, and I never learned 1/10 as much as I have watching your videos. Wonderful cover.. Great tutorial although when you are doing certain chords I found it a bit tough to see all of your finger positions clearly. Perhaps a slight camera angle adjustment would be a huge help. Your instructions are very clear & easy to learn from. I like the fact that you include some variations. Sharing your knowledge with others is one of the greatest gifts on the planet.. You deserve a big Thank You...

When first learning a song practice as much as you can on the first day. Then sleep on I find it very helpful. Don't stress yourself
