Terminator 1 and Terminator 2 is all that exist in the series.
And Terminator 2 was evolutionary enough for the whole upcoming movies, even 30 years later.

While I did enjoy 3 and salvation I have to agree. T1 & T2 were just the best. TBH T2 might actually be one of the greatest action/sci-fi movies of all time.

Anyway, I don't know about you, but I'm annoyed that the bad Terminator from the first movie and the good one from the second have the exact same "name" ("T-800").

@@thatguy1980 it wasn't great but compared to Genysis & Dark Fate it was ok. Could have been so much better but they cheaped out on the budget and Arnie took 30 million of the budget.
It was miscast in my opinion and the cinematography colour palette was off.

He could have so or I quit, in which case they would caved because the movie relied on him. The entire series does honestly. T3 was a bit less suspenseful than the movies that came before it. It was willing to stretch out and have some laughs while trying to maintain the serious aspects. Let's face it, T1 and T2 were far more suspenseful than any of the rest. Some of the rest are neither to be honest. Poor action sci-fi at their best. T1 and T2 are the best but I did enjoy T3 for what it was. The rest was really crap

@@aweni1078 In my humble opinion, "Terminator 1" and "Terminator 2" are masterpieces. The franchise should have ended with "T2." The subsequent movies don't even come close to the originals and feel like poor attempts to extend the story. The lore in the later films feels contrived and serves as a weak excuse to keep the series going. The only things that come close to capturing the spirit of "T2" are "T2-3D: Battle Across Time" and the game "Terminator: Annihilation."
