Laptops generally don’t have good cooling/airflow so my recommendation is not to bother with this. Instead try to keep the temperature as low as possible to get maximum potential out of your system. If your temp is good however you could try this and run the benchmark and monitor the temps. You do not not want the CPU to thermal throttle.
i am using a laptop which has intel i5 7th gen processor , will doing this damage my processor in the long run ?
