In English this is called reporting, reproduction is taking a cutting and reproducing a full plant from that cutting. Please re title your video

A confusing title, this is potting and trimming. This is beautiful so I'm not trying to be harsh but it would be nice to see how you start the growth. Nice work. Edit... I've just checked out your channel and i'm in awe and had to subscribe, this is truely a satisfying art.
Years ago I read that you put live moss that you find in a blender with bulgarian buttermilk and blend briefly, then pour the mixture over wherever you want it to grow and it and keep it shaded. I didn’t think it would work but I tried it anyway because I really wanted some moss in a particular spot in my garden. I was quite nicely surprised when it actually grew and flourished. I had blended a square about 3X3 inches and wound up with about twenty square feet. Edit for typos

О, как раз смотрела на мох на крыше сарая и думала, куда бы его переселить 😅. С крыши его надо убрать, но он слишком красивый, чтоб просто выбросить 😊.
На камни. Смешать с йогуртом. Сделать такую массу как сметана. И покрасить ею камни. Будет красиво!

Here in Michigan you can find blankets of moss in the woods or basically anywhere there is little sun exposure

@@smitmiras idk much about gardening but from what i have seen from my sister doing
Once you have harvested it you remove any visible twigs or small branches then you put it in a bowl of water (distilled water is better) for a couple of minutes washing it and then you leave it on a paper towel to soak up the excess amount of water. Depending on what you're planning to use the moss for it is recommended to use springtails to avoid moss outbreaks and also use a mist sprayer to water the moss. You can learn more if you search up how to grow moss/terrarium tutorials but i hope this comment helped ya :)
Also don't put the moss in direct sunlight

En regardant le sol en forêt, ou de vieux murs au jardin, on trouve plein de mousses très belles et différentes, après, elles vont se modifier, fleurir.
je récupère bcp de vieux pots pour mes bonsaïs, et fais aussi de mini jardins avec les mousses. Sur un bord de fenêtre, 3 ou 4 pots de forme variée forment de très jolis paysages reposants qui calment l'âme. Laissez venir les idées qd vous marchez en forêt, et emportez toujours un Opinel, 1 sac ou 2 de transport, les mini plantes ,tiges, mousses, vous APPELLERONT au passage, il suffit d'y répondre pour ENCHANTER votre vie.
Pour moi, C un ressourcement constant❤

I have one which is 24 years old
Moss grows where it wants to. Artificially growing it fails 9/10. And these will likely die too.
She cut the root off so prob not long

What substrate is this?
Its a type of pebble stone. Just like what you use for suculents.
@JoyceCF, the substrate is called Pon. You can also use bonsai pebbles for the same effect.

I tried moss reproduction many times but it keeps on drying up 😢 any tip
And if you don’t have high, high humidity and aren’t misting/watering on the daily they will dry up and die if you look at them wrong. Nursery owner here. In west Texas where we have no humidity 😂 here we have to put moss in enclosures or it will die 👎 I hate it bc I love cushion moss and so many other kinds!

@@patrickdesout7643 I had my moss in an open container so I decided to make a terrarium instead. I placed it in the west windowsill and she's growing lovely! Also, only rainwater now🙂.
Moss died in windowsill, got too hot I believe and it was sunburned...so I harvested new moss and found a place outside in a regular dish...not in direct sunlight...water it when it gets dry.
It's still green and seems to like it's new spot.
