Hi Ashley, I just got my first florentine satchel last month (small in black) I loved her so much I purchased the medium from QVC when they went on sale for 24 hours (ginger and dark chocolate) I already had the medium Hattie (natural) and large (charcoal) as well as the Buckley in chestnut so I wanted some variety but now I really want the small satchel in natural. I subscribed to your channel and look forward to more videos in the future.

Aww that smell is unmistakable! I am very hard on my bags I don't want to baby them so I tend to carry this in pebbled leather. But I still love mine in Florentine as well. The longer you use this bag the more shine it will get! Great video!

I love dooneys florentine satchels! I have the small as well but in navy and I have the natural in the size nano :) I loooveee them💞 they are so well made, beautiful and high quality. Such a lady handbag!! I am kind of happy it's not as trendy as other bags because when I wear it it makes me feel exclusive.

Now, since I’ve made this video I believe Dooney has quit calling it the small and just calls it the florentine satchel. To be sure either go by the sizing: the length is 13 in long or go by the serial number: 8L980. Those two things have not changed. I know the outlets typically carry the core colors so if the first outlet you call doesn’t have one call another one. Good luck finding small black! 🥰
I think I’m gonna get this in Black, since I already have the Cameron satchel in Natural. I had the bigger one; it was beautiful, but as big as a carry-on bag/duffel bag. Too big!! We Great review; thanks for sharing!

I agree, the smell is heavenly . I have 4 mediums, navy, natural, light taupe and steel blue. And I have a small on its way in slate. Got the Slate at qvc for 318.00, they break up the payments into 5 monthly installments. It was a close call, because I added the Slate to my cart and went back to look at the other colors and noticed the slate was gone from the choices, which made me think I must have bought the LAST one. I quickly checked out my order and made it. Whew! Slate is not one of their regular colors,so I didn't want to lose it. I may go back for black later. Black, Chestnut and Natural will always be there. And many Dooney-nistas recommend I believe it's called Apple leather conditioner which conditions and adds shine.

Hey girl! Your best bet will probably be to call one of the Dooney outlets and pay via phone then have them ship it. Unless Dooney.com or ilovedooney.com is having a sale in the color you want, then you would need to price check between online or the outlets. Also, mine is the small.
Mines is an American made Florentine, so there is leather instead of suede. I just got it, so it’s a little more stiff than my other Florentine. I hope it’ll soften up.

Hey Christine! My advice is to call the Dooney outlets, especially if you’re wanting a core color like black, natural or chestnut. I think they have the best prices. And they ship for a flat rate too.

Yeah, I know a lot of people have said theirs scratched very easily. Mine did scratch, don’t get me wrong, but nothing that wouldn’t buff out. I love the old, warm look on most leather bags. But on Florentine I like it to look nice and new.

i took that bag out of the box and my nails scratched it on the front 🫠 and i don’t even have long nails.
