I have to say, "Thanks." Great guest; Daniela never disappoints. Again, I say "Thanks." I would like to say it 1,000 times, ao understand it as being so.

I am like Daniela…Luso-American. I moved to Portugal several years ago. We have some amazing Fado singers still…Carminho, Ana Moura, Cristina Branco, and especially Mariza! Daniela, let’s not give the American political answer. Not agreeing with what is going on in the world? When a massacre is going on, we can’t all just watch Eurovision and forget it. Music is inherently political and unifying at the same time. So, responses to performers is really a response to that country, not the performer. The performers need to know that they will be responded to based on their country’s behavior in the world. It’s just the way it is. Also, when Eurovision says it isn’t political, we all know that is a flat out lie. They made it even more political but how they decided to be inconsistent in banning a country but not others.
