    Sir, body waves are not the most destructive waves. Rather, surface waves are the most destructive waves. It is the surface waves which cause most property damage because surface waves produce more ground movement and travel more slowly, so they take longer to pass.

    Transverse waves do not travel in a zig zag manner its the particles which are displaced up and down but the waves still travels in a straight direction.

    Sir i have a doubt
    If magnetic field generate by motion of inner core i.e molten fe and ni like eddy currents but how it is possible that it have direction from north to south ,
    It can have random directions

    If gravity is inversely proportional to distance between center of the earth
    Then if any object goes upward its gravitational force should decrease not increase ..

      Yes it decreases that is why since the equator part is away from the center its gravity is less and the poles being closer to the center have a comparatively high gravity

And He did a mistake by saying that since the equator is closer to the center it has less gravity..where actually the center is away form the center and therefore its gravitational force is less
