    couple of things I've liked is when Sir Pentious met lucifer he saluted him, and in the song when they showed the portrait Lucifer Saluted it, Also when he went to heaven they didn't throw him at the gates with Sir Peter, They dropped him in front of the Seraphims and Emily was like Yes this works, and the other one was like oh shit this works, as if he was dropped there to say eff you the system works

    I like that Alastor is disgusted by the tought that he nearly died for his friends and now wants freedom but his deal won't allow it.
    This means his deal has something to do with the Hotel or Charlie , he is forced to stay there.

    • @FireheadLazzo
      @FireheadLazzo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Gotta say, the fact that Lilith made a deal that allows her to stay in Heaven seems to clash with the theory that Alastor is under her command. What sort of deal could she have made that she needs to end Charlie's plans while also being behind Charlie's success? Maybe she doesn't plan to stay in Heaven any longer now that an extermination has been repelled?

    • @FireheadLazzo
      @FireheadLazzo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Or maybe the theory is wrong and Alastor is under someone else's control. They could be using 7 years as shorthand for "a long time" the way the bible uses it as a symbolic number.

      I do find it a little funny/annoying how some people I’ve seen have assumed Alastor means everything he says like they don’t understand that he lies he’s sarcastic and that he hates the idea of his reputation being changed from edgy powerful overlord to nice guy who helps his friends also I feel like a lot of people even after being told they still don’t realise that his radio effect disappears when he’s being genuine about what he’s saying

    My favorite thing about Alastor vs Adam was that they used it to really demonstrate what Camilla meant about how angels fight in a sloppy and careless way. In terms of power Alastor is nowhere near Adam, but he was able to hold his own for a bit just by being smarter and finessing around him. The moment Alastor got cocky and tried to take Adam's attack head on was when he lost.

    • @pabloc8808
      @pabloc8808 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It also proves what Lucifer said in his song "Hell's Greatest Dad": in your needy hour/there's no substitute for true/ANGELIC POWER!". Alastor tried, and if he hadn't been arrogant and had angelic weapons on him, he might have succeeded. Lucifer, on the other hand, didn't even have to bother trying. He could've smoked Adam at any point, as shown when he got mad and almost killed him without breaking a sweat

    I viewed this combined with Sera's motivation for allowing the exterminations support the notion Lilith is a "captive". Sera was concerned with revolt in Hell and Lilith is the only character with the influence and power to lead one.

    I wish Sir Pentious actually managed to do something before Adam destroyed his blimp, and that Charlie got to do a bit more in the fight in general, but those are more nitpicking than anything. And in episode 7, I don't have much to complain about. I love what Sir Pentious was trying to do, and I really wanted to see Adam get hit by the death ray as the only time it ever does anything before it got destroyed. I feel like it would've rounded out the war machine obsession he had, with it finally doing something.
    But in honor is his noble sacrifice, Long Live Sir Repentious.

    Right, where to start?
    Lilith is the penultimate big bad. She is/was the avatar of Primodial Evil and Alistar replaced her when it became clear she couldn't take down Heaven. Possible due to the Exterminations. Which is why she also ended up hiding there for the past seven years.
    What do I mean Primordial Evil?
    In the opening episode its pointed out some form of Primordial evil existed before hell, humanity or anything like that. Which gets unleashed onto the Earth when Eve eats the Apple. Damning humanity with the ability to fall to evil and creating Hell in the process.
    What do we know about Lilith?
    It's unclear if Lilith knew about the evil while in Edan. However she appears to be the one prompting Lucifer to give Eve the fruit. After which Lilith somehow attains great power in Hell and the story points out it has something to do with her voice. Keep that in mind. So anyway after this she somehow has a kid with Lucifer even though Sinners can't have kids, but then leaves him to wallow in depression while focusing solely on Charlie. Until mysteriously vanishing with no explanation alongside Alister. Though presumable this is when she fled to heaven.
    What does any of this have to do with Alister?
    A human soul appearing in Hell with great magical power and a focus on their voice. This can describe both Alister and Lilith. So I believe the Primordial Evil grew displeased with Lilith's lack of progress in taking heaven and choose Alister as its new avatar in secret. Slowly letting Alister grow more powerful to see if he was worthy. Which then reached a point where the pair clashed. Resulting in Lilith binding Alister's powers through a contract.
    Why would she leave?
    Well I don't thinks she won the battle against Alister on her own. I believe in all those years she somehow forged an alliance with Heaven in the event another Avatar rose to challenge her. Resulting in her winning with Heaven's help, but knowing she had to flee to avoid further relation from the Primordial Evil. All while Binding Alistar to some unknown contract. Very likely limiting his powers significantly. Even more then he realizes. Hence why he was surprised he couldn't defend against Adam's blast. Leading to him getting injured in that final battle.
    Where do Exterminations come into this?
    Population control. No really. We've been led to believe that was just an excuse by how the story framed Adam and Sera's actions, but I think it might be true. Well actually I think Adam didn't even know the real reason for the Exterminations. Sera on the other hand admitted her wrong doing, but seemed desperate not to reveal why. Leaving it up to the viewer's imagination. However if we remember there is some kind of Primordial Evil like the story hinted at. Well that could be what Sera is scarred of. Perhaps if Hell is full of enough Sinners this evil could manifest or maybe just rise up to conquer Heaven through them and it's Avatar.
    What does any of this have to do with Charlie?
    Well... This part is completely wild theory crafting, but here we go. Firstly I don't think Lilith planned Charlie to actually raise up Sinners to heaven through redemption. It seems more likely to me she was trying to implant the seeds of revolution against Heaven from an early age. The union of Sinner and Angel is presumably a powerful mix. Infusing Primordial Evil and Heavenly powers into one being. Now you might say I'm crazy. However in that final battle with Adam we saw two thing. One, The weapon Charlie summoned is infused with Angelic power as shown by its silvery tips. Two, the arm she uses to catch Adam's attack on Lucifer is infused with a completely different power. A red aura we've not seen before. I think that's the show hinting at these two forces within Charlie. If this is the case. Then I think Charlie was meant to be a weapon to use against Heaven. However she turned out to pure and thus couldn't be used for Lilith's plans. This could also be why Alister is so interested in her. Not because he is being compelled to help her through the contract, but because he can see the power there. He wants to guide it or maybe use it to break his bonds. Which we've heard him say as much after all.
    Anyway thats my read on things.
    Also yes I know the other angelic tipped weapons were supplied by Carmilla. However Charlie didn't have one, she was using a shield. We also know from her personality that she wouldn't normally use a weapon. That weapon she summoned was made with her power. Need more proof? The fire blasts she produces from her finger can also kill the exterminators. Meaning even those are infused with holy power.

    My bet is Emily and Charlie are half sisters. Since we dunno where Eve is, and it’s implied Lucifer banged both of Adams wives (lol), I think Lilith had Charlie in hell and Eve had Emily in heaven.
    And super yes, where’s Cain and Abel? So many questions!!

    • @tetragaming6332
      @tetragaming6332 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I doubt it, she's more likely to be completely unrelated to Charlie, or a cousin or an Aunt depending on how Lucifer and Sera are related and the relationship between Emily and Sera. Lucifer didn't sleep with Eve, he offered her the apple. Lucifer just chose to turn that entire scenario into one innuendo.
      Eve most likely wouldn't have been in heaven, she was the second sinner to exist. it's probably why Adam was single and doesn't take the opportunity to bitch about her in any of his scenes.

    Abel was a prideful prick, he benefitted off Cain's much much harder work whilst never giving him any credit and although yes of course Cain killing him was way way too far It's not like Abel was a perfect saint either. Abel was slothful and prideful whilst Cain was envious and wrathful.

      I feel like there is a difference between killing in the heat of battle and beating someone who can't fight back to death. Also, having watched it a few times now, the exterminators all evaded her little fireworks show, so I dunno that she actually killed anyone herself.

    This isnt all women but why is It that I’ve noticed that the majority of female reactors have not realised that sir pentious was killed until either much later or they have to do a double take on what just happened in that scene and no I’m not saying women are slower to react or something like that it’s just an observation from watching a lot of reaction videos
