For your example at 23:25 it seems as though with this mindset you are enabling or allowing him to not take a proper back. I struggle in both the lane and post lane phase as it feels like "accepting the reality" but can quickly turn to thrown lead and lost tempo/game in higher elo.
That's a reasonable point. Maybe that wasn't the best example to include. I find that a lot of chaos and skirmishing and overstaying on the map is going to happen regardless so you may as well embrace the nature of solo queue. Especially in high elo where players have better fundamentals I'm more comfortable facilitating. If you want to ping your teammates off first and then they still don't base, you should hang around. I probably should've communicated in this one!

I feel it's important to ward objectives in time, so I always back to replenish my wards and health and be ready for drake/baron fights 1 minute or a 1.30 before the objective. But a lot of times, the rest of my team decides to fight in the enemy jungle or push towers, etc... Often, I think they engage in pointless fights so I just don't want any part of them. But the result is exactly what you said, they die and I am full health with wards but no team to contest the objective. And I agree with you, that understanding the supp role is important, so I'll work on that even if I end up dying.

I would like to ask: at 13:30 I am scared of Annie and Taliyah to roam bot, Annie has ult and ignite, it's 7 min so there could be a honeyfruit in the river for Annie to heal up, and if Annie roams bot then Xayah could catch mid wave. Is my reasoning wrong? What did I overlook in my reasoning? Thanks again for the great information you provide.
If they end up roaming down so be it tbh, we can play around Elise helping us. She is also in the river to give vision and we could react accordingly. We won't have time to assess everything that happened around mid, so worst case we just look to back off.
11:38 If Taliyah wasnt here isnt freeze basing better than pushing it? I know you said you'd miss out on roamtimer + they can pressure turret with stacked wave, but if I were enemy adc I'd hate seeing this, I'd miss so much farm?

At 2:09 could someone explain why you wouldn't want to base when minions are on the enemy side? Isn't that not too bad of a time to recall since the wave would slowly push back to you anyways?
@@chriso4529 Yes you need to go straight back to bot to break the freeze so can't roam; ADC extended in lane by themselves needs help; and you will be losing minions to their minions constantly until it's fixed.

Yeah it's wishful thinking to try to win by playing slow and controlled tbh. Pounce on those fights and understand that is the nature of solo queue.

Is it because you can't roam after that recall since you can't leave your ADC alone with the wave pushed up that far?
