When I first heard about Briteline i was very skeptical returning passenger service to this line with Dixie Highway running Parallel on both sides of the rail for much of it's route. I ended up doing work on alot of it's parts , the Locomotives have the most efficient diesel engines ever built and the train has active suspension, All the Signals ,rail , railbed and switching have been upgraded . The train stations are a work of art , it is a good idea to long in coming I really hope they can make it work , I rode it Ft Lauderdale to Palm Beach and back , Friendly helpful staff , smooth ,clean and quiet , what an amazing experience , and they serve alcohol after 1PM should you be so inclined ,
