Cool. I watched Agito back in 2009 and while the quality of the fansubs were not great, I ended up loving it a lot. This time around I loved it even moreso.
Kamen Rider Agito was like Heroes tv Show, with cryptoterrestrial aliens, and monsters of the week that limit people they murders to someone similar to Evolved Humans from Heroes
Ok. Here’s something I’ve noticed with allot of these early digital camera tokusatsu shows. Not just with Kamen Rider but other Toku shows that use it as well like Changerion, the Chouseishin series, and even Garo to some extent. The fight scenes are always incredibly floaty and kinda wonky in places. Now granted, some fights looks good in the shows and can be a treat to watch. But I noticed that the choreography almost feels the kind you’d see in a stage show. Stage shows based on Toku shows always have a sort of floatyness when it comes to the choreography, which makes sense. It’s actors in costumes performing in front of a live audience so that wonkiness is understandable. But the TV versions also kind of resemble that. Not all the time, but playing some of the fights in my head while also thinking about their stage show equivalents was brought to my attention. And it’s only with these shows in particular. The 2000s era Super Sentai shows didn’t use this digital camera style, but for some reason the choreography looked noticeably better. The fights felt allot more fast and visceral. This was especially noticeable when Kamen Rider stopped using this digital style for Kamen Rider Den O. They were also fast and visceral looking. The difference was almost night and day. It’s so weird to me. Early digital Toku fights were a bit slow, floaty, and kinda clunky, while the traditionally filmed Toku fights were allot faster.
I actually love the way they look with the early digital cameras as it gave the early Heisei stuff an interesting feel to them. It's kind of like the grainy film stock horror movies would use in the 80s. It gives them a sense of identity and I think that is what instantly made me fall in love with Ryuki the moment I watched it. It looked different compared to the Sentai shows I was watching.
agito had some of the best concepts of good vs evil. Having the unknowns be angels killing humans who could evolve and surpass them. Unknowns didnt kill mindlessly. Other series didnt have such interesting concepts. I did like greed. My fav would be the imajins actually.
When you said the ending will leave us scratching our head for days is that with Agito surviving the explosion. I mean if the eight original Kamen riders survived the explosion in the end of Skyrider why not Agito🤷♀️
G3/G3-X is Kamen Rider with Metal Hero style. The suit up looks like Metal Heroes: Winspector, Exceedraft, Blue Swat. Or in Western Version, G3/G3-X suit up similar to Marvel's Iron Man/MCU's Iron Man. I like G3/G3-X, he is first secondary Rider to appears. He also most realistic Rider although he is the weakest Rider than Agito, Gills, and Another Agito.
Hibiki was good but suffer bad ratings so changed story later on, rip. kabuto, kiva, fourze, wizard, and drive were good but got butchered by inconsistent plot and weird storylines later. I didnt like fourze or wizard much. kabuto and kiva got butchered. fourze had some amazing monster designs though.

@@saiyaujeff8171 funny enough Inoue don’t really influenced hibiki that much, apparently he himself is a yesman to shirakura during hibiki’s production according to himself. And for the toy sales and the ratings, they were low along with how parents got mad they thought the show were too violent
This is a season I am mixed on. I like it but at the same time I don't like it. However I ain't super unfair like everyone else and my tolerance level isn't short so there. When it comes to the Lords I have to say their killing methods had me question is this a kids show because good gosh man. I actually like That summer day and it's one of my favorite episodes in Agito. The ending doesn't bother me because The Overlord of Darkness is a God so he can't die that's not how Godhood works. But I don't like how Agito Shinning form debuts in the show. It had no build it just happened for whatever reason. A new transformation did a better job in debuting it because it gave us a subplot and build up to it and that was good. Who is my favorite character, Mikoto I think mainly because he's not an anti hero secondary rider. The first one in the Heisei era and that's a good thing because after Specter I'm really getting tired of anti hero secondary riders because it's boring and annoying. Agito is not my favorite rider show but I will admit it's a good watch.
I think the reason they didn't really build up Shining Form is because it had previously been introduced in the special I talked about with G3 Mild, which was supposed to take place before then even though the little bit with Houjou makes it impossible for such.
True it does cause a problem. And there probably no way around it. But I won't dwell on it like everyone else has. And do tend to be all like "horray final form now fight".
I have never actually watched a kamen rider series. When I comes to tokusatsu I have only really watched ultraman series. However this show looks really interesting. I might watch it after I finish ultraman gaia.

Had his brother survived, there woulda been another of this design so to make the double Another Agitos like the double Riders. 18:38, this dood comin' in and things get waaay too complicated. 19:33, who's the bad guy here if they're doing this?!! 20:25, ironically, it was all for the name of the Overlord god of darkness himself. 22:50, basically this dude is trying to haggle with the G.O.D. to buy some time for humanity to stop him. 27:49, this artist is so boss, it has that Yakuza feel to it. It's so good. 29:37, follow safety. Even edgy Riders have to follow the rules. 31:10, that glasses woman is always a freak-out even from the start. Wanna show the worst of humanity? Put them in a bad spot first. This show taught me quite a buncha things. 31:24, at least the God of light gave up his all to give his energy to Shouichi unlike both Vernage and Seito who are...really useless at times. KR Build and Ryusoulger to be specific tho KR Build is phenomenal. 31:36, this whole show has a Resident Evil like feeling to it. 32:30, this special happens to be the first time canon to Shining Form. 33:50,hey! That was my joke! I kid. 34:46, would explain his revival near the finale of the show. 34:52, another reason why Toei keeps bringing back the suit and even Decade uses Agito so many times, I wonder if Inoue Masahiro likes Agito or it was one of the director's faves whenever Decade is on screen, either way...this anniversary season to KR...KICKS ASS!!

@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Whoops. Did I say freak out? I meant paranoid. The one who always jump to conclusions. I often shudder what would happen if she had unleashed her psychic powers like Aki Sakaki. Plus If your gonna be an Evil god, you can’t be one WITHOUT a monster form, Loki from Marvel is the exception imo, honestly i think one of the lords should’ve been used as a vessel for him in the show. Also i get an anti religious vibe from him.

We're only 12 episodes into Kuuga since we've been slowly watching it with Silver Quill.
Kamen Rider G3 And Kamen Rider Gills Are So Good
I like them a lot, especially G3.
Maybe it'll be shin Kamen rider prologue.... Maybe it'll be kiva. Only the Kaiju no kami knows for sure.
Either of those will be indeed be very appropriate for Halloween. Hell, I’m even considering watching Shin Kamen Rider Prologue again thanks to this month.

Ah yes my first season KR binging. Honestly I chose it based on suit design over Kuuga then started to watch random seasons
And actually featured super heroes wearing costumes instead of boring, plained clothed dudes that barely used their powers.

Would you review b fighter or its follow-up b fighter kabuto
At some point when there are subs available for each series.
What Is Your Favorite Part About Makoto Hikawa Aka Kamen Rider G3
When he starts going crazy from the upgrade form.
Okay Thanks
agito had some of the best concepts of good vs evil. Having the unknowns be angels killing humans who could evolve and surpass them. Unknowns didnt kill mindlessly. Other series didnt have such interesting concepts. I did like greed. My fav would be the imajins actually.
Yeah, I loved the entire concept behind the Unknowns.
The monsters design in agito is good and with minimalist design for suit actors to do much
And they're very effective in the scare factor compared to the bulky over-designed suits of later series.

Toshiki Inoue Is One Of My Favorite Tokusatsu Head Writer's Of All Time
Nice. He's got some truly exceptional series in both Sentai and Rider.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Agito is the only good rider series written by Inoue just like Takahashi with Ex-aid.
Agito isn't underrated but Hibiki is criminally underrated just like with Kabuto , Kiva , Fourze , Wizard and Drive.
@@zenoxiong3434 Hibiki didn't got bad ratings , mainly this was all Inoue and Shirakura's fault , I personally love Wizard a lot I think the 10th anniversary was celebrate better than both Kabuto's 15th and Fourze's 10th

Do you think that it would be neat to see a prehistoric-themed Kamen Rider? Or how about an ancient Egyptian-themed one too?
I'm a suck for Egyptian mythology, so most definitely.
So there's a manga...
I've heard.
It's definitely one that is great to start with. Let me know what you think of it when you watch it.
Okay
00:30, this series is awesome.
1:58,I'm in for a good time, am I?
Even though it doesn't look that way, I do like Shouichi's lax and laid back attitude, kinda makes him feel like a shaolin monk like in Karate Kid. If he were to be in another show, he'd honestly be the mentor.
Theme for the burning form sounds like Double Dragon 2's final boss theme tbh: th-cam.com/video/Se7tBEPMdfI/w-d-xo.html
12:03,XD Poor guy.
14:10, that crooked cop was the reason why he's the way he is so later on, seems like he's straying away from his mentor's shoes to find his own path....while still being inept as a person.
17:46, tho someone stated that his design was inspired by Ichigo.
And kick ass it does!
There are definitely some Resident Evil vibes to this series, which is also what I think I love about it.
What freaked you out about glasses woman?
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Whoops. Did I say freak out? I meant paranoid. The one who always jump to conclusions. I often shudder what would happen if she had unleashed her psychic powers like Aki Sakaki. There were quite a lot of the Akatsuki who might have gone off the rails when it comes to their powers and had they gone berserk, they would've ended up like the Grongi which would possibly be the reason why the Unknowns had to intervene.
You can see an image of Kuuga during the opening scene here: th-cam.com/video/i_leAH4bVLk/w-d-xo.html Another tie in to Kuuga. I imagine if you're good and have powers, you become good but if you're ill-intent and have powers, you'll become a Grongi.
Wow, I never even thought about the Grongi connection with their abilities. Good catch.
