I agree with your take on Drake however I recommend you give Kdot another listen, he had 3 albums that are amazing, 2 of which would go into my top 10 and one of which possibly first, im also a huge Eminem fan, he is what got me into rap in the first place and been listening since I was 9 so 19 years.
