it would be truely an interesting character in league. We don't have true PTSD champion and to mix with a very young child is a brilliant idea. It would be a support that could have unique healing/protecting mechanics like sacrificing max hp of his allies to shield them a shield and then does a specific action like a stun or taking enought damages to transform the shield into a healing. It could use a fear control on his allies, to makes them run faster in the direction he want and obviously just fear his ennemies somethings like this. We don't have supports using fear or having this double edge risky aspect. Could truly be cool

I love Joraal, it's just so broken. I also like how Aatrox clearly shows that he cares about his partners when he sees them in LoR and has a sense of empathy toward Joraal's suffering. It truly is the one that humanizes them.
Their suffering is EXACTLY why he is on the quest he is, to end the world. Because the Darkin can't really die, so Aatrox is hoping they'll die if the ENTIRE UNIVERSE dies.
Or it could be futile and they'll just be magic weapons floating through the void, consciousnesses sealed and begging for a release that will never come

Joraal's lines are fucking GOATED, adds so much character to the darkin. Also shows a lighter side of Aatrox when he tries to make Joraal calm down. "Easy captain, your peace is at hand."
I love Joraal. The way Aatrox talks to him makes me feel like Aatrox truly loves his comrades and everything he does is just to save them from eternity.
The representation of ptsd in Joraal is also just so visceral, it gives me goosebumps. (Aswell as the unavoidable "I can fix him" delusion lol)
Also makes you understand why they absolutely fucking DESPISE Xolaani. At their most desperate moment, SHE RAN, abandoning her brothers and sisters when they needed her the most

From what I understand the darkin wars (the ones where she was a leader and probably controlling other darkin) were essentially petty turf wars because the Ascended had all this power but didn't have a leader like azir to keep them focused, also the mind corruption of the Void

Jor’aal is the perfect design for a darkin shield bearer. The whole ‘his body was indomitable so the void corrupted his mind is a nice change to the typical corrupted visage and mental corruption turns to evil.
Also I’m pretty sure aatrox pronounces it (ball-koose) instead of how it looks

I feel like the T-Hex should be Heimer's ult if he ever gets a rework, and it won't be like Daisy or Tibbers, Heimer will enter the mech and will control it and gain a new moveset until it either runs out or is destroyed
I would love it if he scaled up during the game and the further your scaling is the better his towers Become, similar to all the ones we see in LoR. (maybe close to Aphelios little tower)

I would say Joraal the Darkin Shield. We have Darkin that are all 'proud' and are doing a real good job hiding their pain, then there's Joraal. A Darkin who has fully gone insane. I could picture him kinda like Leona/Blitz hybrid for it.

My favorite part of Lord Broadmane is the special interaction he has with an allied Swain. He suddenly drops the act and reveals his true intentions, while every other voice line he has keeps up the diplomatic pretense

I think a fun character to bring into league would be the Forgotten spirit (the frog grim reaper dude). Say he’s been running around the shadow isles before finding Vex. The spirit (I’ll call him Croak) learns of Bandle city and because no one in Bandle city dies, the Eitherfiend has me reason to go there. Therefore, he strikes a deal with Vex, hide me in Bandlewood city, and I will work tirelessly to find a way for Yordles to die. Then, once this goal is accomplished, not only will Vex finally be able to die, but Croak can become the grim reaper of Bandlewood city, officially making him safe from the Eitherfiend since he will have a purpose again.
So you have a grim reaper on the verge of death trying to kill immortals to become immortal.
You could play it seriously, or as a joke with stories involving Croak testing all sorts of ways to kill some hapless shmuck he’s captured only for comical effects to occur on the Yordle.
Yes, the Faded Icon! This idea is compelling on so many levels, and I'd genuinely love to read about the misadventures of this has-been grim reaper. Vex's inclusion makes me think that this has the potential to be a poignant story, as well-- maybe overtime, he and Vex could become close friends? Even if he failed, they'd both still get something good out of it. Vex would have literal death as a companion (something she'd vibe greatly with, plus I feel like it's better to face eternity with someone rather than face it alone), and he would always have someone to remember him, which luckily for him, might just be enough to keep the Etherfiend away?
I forget if the Etherfiend hunts spirits /specifically/ because they're forgotten, or because they no longer fulfill a purpose-- but if it's the former, there'd be no better person to remember you than an immortal being. Either way, your idea is super cool!

I think Joraal could have a lot of story potential if they fleshed him out. The flavour text for his card says that the child hears a sad voice from within Joraal's shield, maybe they could expand that into this child is the only one who can hear Joraal. Like Joraal was before his corruption, this child has a desire to help and protect others, leading to Joraal calling out to him.
When the child inevitably picks up the shield, Joraal takes over as his mind is filled with visions of the horrors he faced, and in the back of his mind he feels the urge to protect his host. Not just out of self preservation, but because somehow he knows that it's his purpose to protect the innocent, just like his host. This creates a tragic twist on characters like Annie and Tibbers, where Joraal is earnest in protecting his host, but because of his trauma he perceives anything that moves as a potential threat and becomes incredibly violent as a result. Maybe he hears the child's voice in his mind, trying to comfort Joraal and direct him away from innocents.

2:25 I’ve had an idea for a while that certain LoR characters with thematic overlap with other characters in the game could be included as legendary skins that effectively “replace” their base champion with a new model, new voicelines, and maybe 1 or 2 new animations. Sort of like the Premier Skins from Injustice-using an existing character/moveset to represent a new one without straight up making a new character slot outright. This alleviates the challenge of having to come up with a brand new unique moveset for an extremely similar character. You could have Jack over Sett, Ting over Wukong, etc. etc. Not sure how feasible this would be (considering the framework league is built on is a decade old), but it would be cool.

I know it's a bit trite to have a wheelchair character interact with speed, but Indari being an ADC that doesn't need boots and instead could have a Cassiopeia style passive where she gets movespeed from another source, could be pretty cool. Not sure about abilities because ADC is my least played role but if she's all about using multiple guns with multiple arms... maybe a scaling ultimate like Kayle where she gets more guns as she levels up that maybe split her DPS down into multiple shots but that means she gets more benefits from on-hit effects? Idk. I definitely feel that an engineer ADC has a tonne of stuff you could do with them.
Maybe in exchange for not being able to buy boots at all, her ult passively breaks apart her autos into randuins bolts (which then can individually proc randuins), splitting their base damage between them but not on hit effects (so if a normal auto would do 100, one of her level 6 autos would deal 50 but hit 2 targets, level 11 would do 25 but hit 3 and so on), and the ult gives her a big ass defensive boost and range increase while massively slowing her, turning her into a very positioning oriented sieging based adc

If I recall correctly, they're called "Balestriders", and I think the only problem with making them champions is that they can't talk. I would love a gamemode that features them though for sure
@@funtimes9088 Many champions can't talk, I don't think that's a problem. The main problem would be their size (they are very tall, not big like Aurelion, so making the smaller would drastically make them really weird and badly proportioned)
@@MarioFRC32 Other than Aphelios, which champions can't talk? I thought he was the one exception, and he only works because he has Alune to do voice lines for him.
Edit/Update: After thinking about it for a bit longer, I'm guessing you mean Rek'Sai, Bard, and maybe even Rammus, which are fair examples. They would still need to make a unique sound for the Balestriders, though. I personally prefer them to be threateningly silent (they're one of the few LoR cards without voice lines), but it could be done well. You're right that the proportions might be an issue though
I think Von Yipp would be awesome, give him a busted kit, like completely op, but make him the cat and make the body constantly running off and him just dragged along

Captain Indari would be absolutely amazing. So much potential for creativity in terms of gameplay. Also: just the pure badassery of a wheelchair user maintaining the rank of Captain in Noxus of all places.
It just goes to show that "strength" means a lot more in Noxus than big muscles and a big axe.

Joraal could be a darkin support who can be a hyper defensive tank who can maintain the front line very well at the cost of being put at a disadvantage when moving back.
I'd love Indari in the game ❤ Her design is cool and she looks like the kind of character that would go fast as hell in game, those are my favorites.
11:48 The best part is, Broadmane's line are all about Noxus being good for you... and his effect is: he deals small damages to your creatures, and he ensures any stunned or damaged minions gets finished off. Just Amazing!
I could honestly do with Jack as a legendary Sett skin.
I like Sett's gameplay but not how he looks, so I don't play him a lot, but if he was Jack, I absolutely would.
if joraal does get added i would want him to be a support,because we got Aatrox in the toplane,Rhaast in the jungle,Naafiri in the mid lane (soon), and Varus as ADC so being able to have a full darkin comp will be possible

I adore these Legends of Runeterra videos. Don't get me wrong, OG League has a cool roster and all, but I love the sense of discovery that comes with showcasing LoR's in particular-- there's always a character I've yet to see, and it makes the world of Runeterra seem all the more lively.
I would love the baccai reaper he looks so cool. I would love a baccai champion in general so we get to learn more about what it means to be a failed ascendant. All we got is that they are weaker, deformed and lost prestige in the face of shuriman society, so much that they get a mask seald on their face( irl egyptian ritual for dead people). But like, they still seem to be imortal and way powerfull than normal humans so what gives?

Well I mean, if we have plenty of hefty dudes with big swords and attractive lady sorceresses with scepters, I think it's very possible to make Jack different from Sett in League. He could focus more on the pugilist side of hand to hand combat (while Sett is more of a WWE star), incorporate his cane into combat or his giant tail. He's got more going on for him than I think a lot would let on imo.
100%. Imagine something like Punch Out where Jack could dodge to the right or left and get a damage bonus from it. It'd be sick!
I think xolaani is going to be a champ maybe next year or so with varus' new voice lines mentioning her and naafiri. one can hope.
The Yordle Mayor would HAVE to play like Pikmin, sending lesser yordles in to attack, leaving them for dead, a living shield, etc.

Ledros :
passive : defying madness
at the beginning of the game Ledros picks an oath with an ally. when Ledros and this ally attack the same target in a window of 3 seconds they deal bonus magic damage. part of it is % current hp scaling off Ledros bonus hp (7.5% current hp when Ledros has 800 bonus hp) and part of it is % missing scaling with Ledros' AP (10% missing hp when Ledros has 100 AP). (26 second cooldown per target reducing with level) In addition when Ledros is far from his ally he gains health regen (+100% - +600% scaling with level) mana regen (+50% - +150% scaling with level). (think of Kha'zix alone radius)
Q : shattered blade
Ledros cast the memory of his former blade forward. all ennemis hit are slowed for 40% for 4 seconds and marked for 2. Ledros' hit on marked ennemies will deal bonus magic damage scaling off his AP. Ledros heals for the totality of the bonus damage dealt.

cooldown 12 seconds
W : fickeling souvenirs
passive : the ghost shield of Ledros casts mist as he tries to remember his past as a soldier. when out of combat and far from his oathed ally Ledros grows a shield over time going up to 10% of his max HP. while Ledros has his shield up he gains 8-25 armor (scaling with level) and 8-25 magic resistance (scaling with level). when the shield is broken it screams and fear all ennemis around Ledros for 1.5 seconds.
active : the memories of everyone around Ledros begin to fickle as his. he targets an ennemy and he vanishes for 1 second. during this time an indicator begin to appear over the marked ennemy's head. after the second has passed Ledros appears behind the target and his shield screams. in addition the target suffers medium damage scaling off Ledros' AP.

cooldown 16 seconds
E : the honour of the protector
Ledros taunts an ennemy and the visions of Ledros' past flood them making them accept the challenge in accordance to honour and the noble rules of Camavore. Ledros taunts an ennemy for 2.3 seconds. during this time Ledros will deal bonus physical damage to them scaling with ability level and AP. when this ability gains levels the ennemy also looses attack speed for the duration of the taunt.

cooldown 18 seconds
R : the hollowing curse
Ledros' curse takes a hold of him as he begins loosing what memories he had reclaimed from this lifetime. Ledros gains attack speed and AP for 15/25/60 seconds. his shield emits an aura of grief calling for a loved one that Ledros can't hear the name off. ennemies around Ledros are slowed for 10% and suffer light magic damage over the duration of the buff (scaling with AP only). If Ledros was to die during this buff he may respawn immediatly at the fountain.

cooldown 90/90/120 seconds
The Mayor would be awesome as an alternate Ivern type champ. The archetype of clearing jg without killing seems like an untapped resource.
The Joraal lines fucks me up. This child soldier got baited into being an ascended. Led by propaganda to go to war against the terrifying Void. His crying out to Aatrox hurts my soul. It tells up about Aatrox as much as it does Joraal. Aatrox was the one this child leaned on, he was a leader and probably even a great one. So much so that his men reflexively cry out to him. It's so sad to see what he is now.
12:20 love the Gravity Rush ost. It's such a lose that usually people don't know about this game.
The zaun diva would have such a cool character. She would be a medium range ap-ad with mana toplaner. Her passive would be that her autos would deal additional Ap dmg and her abbilities would upgrade while she attacks and enemy with her abbilities (note that her empowered abbility cant empower other abbilities). On her Q she could do a little combo a little bit like riven or smth with her guitar dealing half ad half ap dmg when she hits her whole combo on a single enemy her next abbility would become empowered. Empowered Q: slows and deals additional ap dmg and gets more hits in the combo. W would shield her with electricity and would prepare a swing that deals ad dmg that also has a little dash. When she gets attacked during preparing the swing she deals ap dmg and slows the attacker. If her shields brakes or an enemy gets hit by both the shield dmg and her swing her next abbility gets empowered from the passive. Empowered W: her shield gets larger and her shield dmg hits nearby enemies dealing ap dmg even if they dont attack her.
E: she hits the ground with electricity dealing ap dmg and stuning enemies in the centre of the strike. For a couple seconds she could recast to teleport to the place of the strike dealing ad dmg to enemies in a small aoe. If she hits her enemy with both the stun and the strike she empowers her next abbility from the passive. Empowered E: her range and aoe of the lighting gets larger and always stuns. Her recast has longer aoe range and deals increased half ap half ad dmg.
Her R: she prepares a strong lighting strike in a area around her gaining a medium size shield slowing enemies nearby and dealing ap dmg after preperation she pulls all nearby enemies to her stunning them and dealing half ap half ad dmg she may charge for longer or shorter for more dmg and additional effects. If she hits at least one enemy with the recast she gets additional bonuses depending on how long she holds her R. 25% of the time: she gets additional attack range and deals 25% increased passive dmg. 50% of the time: same as 25% and dmg dealt to her is reduced by 15%
100%: same as 50% and all of her basic abbilities get empowered and dont use mana for 10 seconds and all of her cd gets refunded. (Note that if your Q cd is 6 second then in theory you can use 2 empowered Q's during the 10 seconds) If she recasts before the 100% she only empoweres one abbility if she hits at least one enemy with the recast. Her R cant be empowered.

I saw a comment on here about making the LoR champs in to legendary skins for some characters and dangggg I love it, especially with Joraal, we could make him a pantheon legendary skin and change his spear to a sword with new voicelines and interactions.

HOLY FUCK YES, JORAAL, dude that guy NEEDS his story expanded, he’s genuinely a good character **PLUS** It would give us a darkin support character. Letting us do a 5 man Darkin game. Genuinely what a banger character.
If they add Joraal, which would be awesome, i hope they make him a top laner. Specifically because top lane is the most lonely and isolated I feel it would play into his character really well.

I’d love to see Joraal and Mihira. I’m a support main and I actually love seeing lore from supporting characters. It’s so sad to see and hear lore from champs like Ziliean and Janna despite them being my favorites. Though I’d love more new characters, I want Riot to prioritizing revamps and updates

The problem is about 90% of the cards in LoR, IF they want to become a champion in League is that their gameplay will be like the other champs that are already in the game( even right now most of the new champion have the similar abilities) or they designed like choosing abilities for them will not be enough to make them champions in league. That is just my opinion and your works are always great🙏
I feel like a few of these could be added as skins or as part of reworks. I know that the Zaunite Diva could be a Seraphine skin, Mihira would be an awesome Kayle skin, and I realise that Heimer has had a rework before, but LoR has done so much for him. Imagine if they reworked Heimer to integrate all of his new inventions, including transforming into a T-HEX as part of his ultimate. It would be so sick.
Joraal is one of my favorite tragic characters in LoR and I think he his probably the most important piece tying together the darkin story. While the focus may be on Aatrox and Xolanni, both of their philosophies fundamentally boil down to 'destroy the world to save it.' With both sides functionally 'evil,' it can become very difficult to see the darkin as anything more than power-crazed monsters. Joraal does so much to establish their origin and how much they have suffered, allowing us to empathize even as we try to put them to the sword. He turns them from monsters we have to kill to shattered souls we must lay to rest.

I really like the idea of releasing somebody from the champion related followers. Mihira, Mallat, one of the husk generators, something like that.
I would love to see the trio of knuckle, and crew where you play as either knuckle or bull, and call in the others for just attacks in abilities

I would add the LoR champs as skins. Like having a Jack skin for Sett, or a Nora skin for Lulu would be cool.

Honestly, Jack the winner could be a good Sion skin. Both are pale, have a strong jaw shape and carry a large weapon. Plus Sion's passive lets him still be a brawler if that is one of his things.
Honestly I would love to see Captain Indari but unfortunately you're absolutely right there'd be way too many toxic, garbage people who would act ableist about her. I wish riot just got rid of these idiots so we can safely enjoy amazing stuff like that.
If they would ever do Mihira, I would hope that she has a Kill la Kill type relationship, where Morgana and Kayle both hate her.

One thing why it's impossible that lot of this great character designs wouldn't make it to league of legends no matter how great their lore and design is ... Because LOR is like the box concept artist ideas was thrown because they can't put them to league.. because league was the box that serve some specific country that love cute and attractive characters nowadays... And esport focus that character design and visual fx doesn't matter but how much damage they could do in one boring slash.. Riot could do better

I think Zeri was supposed initially to be one of the "Kays" too, the design is so near landing the Kay design, energy flowing, inventors but also strong family support, and more, but something changed mid development, and maybe because Neon already being a counterpart to Zeri, it was changed

I really love Jack, and if there's a remote possibility he hits League someday, I imagine his kit something like this:
P: Tahm's life-attack passive.
Q: Nunu's bite.
W: I think it would be cool something similar to Malzahar's minions but with Nukkle-people lol. Also it'd be cool if they included a coin mechanic to power up this ability, maybe like GP's Q and R dynamic.
E: Tryndamere's sweet, lovely words of support and admiration to invite the enemy to a friendly match.
R: Mundo's/Olaf's/Trynda's kinda ult. You know, in his riot form.

Most of these sound like a meme for how random they are, but you got me with Joraal and Atakhan. The problem with Joraal is that Riot still insist there are only five alive, so good luck with him being the last one. Personally, I will always want Ledros and I hate how he still isn't in LoL. At least they made him an optional boss in Ruined king, so that's something. On the other hand, unlike Nicky, I think exclusive champions shouldn't be a thing and both Norra and Jack should be added to LoL, similar how they apparently decided to start making WR exclusive skins for PC too.
I mean, all darkin are still "alive", but only five are on the loose. I really want Joraal to be a thing tho. He's legitimately one of the best characters in the lore.

While the Yordle Mayor is increadibly funny, I couldn't imagine him beeing a cool champ to play. But I would definetly be down to have him as an announcer and insted get Masa, crashing thunder. He just looks soo great and I am sure you could give him a perfectly quirky mooveset. Also while we are wishing things from Riot, slightly off topic, I think we all desperately need a cinematic based on all the gnar followers. Every single card they are in just looks like pure chaos and its just the greatest thing
I always thought that the zaun diva could become or inspire a seraphine skin if she wouldn’t be added. Also Kay would have to similar of a play style to kennen or zeri imo
I never realized Joraal is inhabiting a child and I think that is amazing. But also, I think Cithria could be a cool champion because lore connections, already has her own stories, has interesting morals for a Demacian (very conflicted about the mage oppression and rebellion), and also has an admirable character personality, going from zero to hero.
I don't watch Nicky's streams so seeing his model change to this funny little goober sent me tot he moon

I think for LOR characters they should create skins for them in LOL, like maybe Jack the Ripper skin for sett or a lulu skin based on Nora etc
