- The Marshall Woburn II Bluetooth speaker is the topic of this video. First off this speaker looks amazing, the faux leather, brass controls and trim and the led lights on the controls give this speaker a high priced look. The downside is that the high price look actually comes with a high price sales tag of $500!

I’ve had the original Stanmore (which is just this but one woofer not two) for over 5 years and it is still my best way to listen to music! Great product!!

@@cr26tk39 Bose is for clarity of sound and spatial separation... while Woburn is not as sharp sounding, but makes you feel the music deep in your chest. Both are awesome, but for classical music, Bose.
I bought this from selfridge store in London. Nice speaker.the output is second to none. The big problem facing this speaker is the (power switch) once you play the speaker for two weeks then you loose power. No matter what you do. Except sending it back to the manufacturer.
I experience this problem the year 2018. Just to let you know how I feel about this speaker. I swap it three for the same speaker. Same power problem.
I will advise anyone thinking buying marshall wodburn ll. Please ask the manufacturer about thie power failure problem. I am willing to buy the speaker again if this problem is fixed. I checked the marshall website regarding update to the problem before writing this comment.good luck folks

Which one better between woburn 2 vs woburn multiroom? And why?
Man I've had a Kilburn for a long time now and I LOVE the sound that comes out of it. It was $300 when I bought it new, but was worth it over the years IMO. I'd like to eventually upgrade but probably wouldn't spend $500 on this one..

Just got my Woburn II today. I paid $400 on Black Friday sale. It is a fine speaker. I don't think there is anything special about it other than its aesthetic.
Is it a party speaker? Can it compete with a Ion Block Rocker on the power output?
Do you have to use the Marshall app? Or can you connect via regular Bluetooth?
What are the differences between Woburn Multi-Room and Woburn 2? Craving for answer! Thanks!
Basically the Woburn II has 2 50W woofers, while the Woburn Multiroom has 2 40W woofers. Tweeters are both the same.
This seams to be an improvement over the first Woburn which I had and sold. I might buy this one. I know that you can probably find something cheaper with just as good sound quality but these things sure look nice.
That's the part that is hard to relate to people, it looks amazing! it looks like a luxury speaker...plus i love the comments i get when people see it. I really like it because the sound is great and the app works really well but if i recommend it then people think i am just trying to promote an expensive speaker. thanks or watching

Can someone tell me how the power cord is used? Do you always have to have it plugged into an outlet or does it charge and made able to be carried around? Any help on this would be appreciated!
Hi, unfortunately its portability is based on its size and weight not power supply. Its design allows it to be easily moved around but you need to be near an electrical outlet because it needs to be plugged on at all times. I hoped it was charge and carry as well but then I doubt the bass would be that nice. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.

Well i can save up in two month time and buy it 😀 i think the brown version or the white version looks best 😀 tho i found a much cheaper speaker that have the same amount of watts but the sound frequenzies arnt puplished tho so dunno if it is just trash. It is named Caliber HFG411BT but it is kinda outdated with the bluetooth version and its basic functionality but it is a very similar looking speaker for sure just with a different grill.
I took a look at the caliber hfg411bt, it does look very similar. It looks longer the smaller version of the same design family. Thanks for the comment!

Hi mate. I'been stock in choosing between JBL Boom Box and Marshall woburn II. Which one do you think have better performance in sound quality? Currently I have JBL Boom Box which has a great base, not as much natural as I expected but good, and of sound clarity and being crispy lovely. Do you think it's worth to swap from my JBL to Marshall? Does Marshall have deeper and more natural base in max volume? What about sound clarity?

Woburn1 vs Woburn 2 vs Woburn multiroom?
Multiroom is something i cant speak of how much better that is compared to those two as i dont know the specs for it. But the woburn 2 is much better than the first one becuase it got a better sound freqenzy and larger amount of watts. But if you want same performance but cheaper and with outdated bluetooth (version 3.0) you can look at the Caliber HFG411BT. With that said the sound frequenzy is not puplished by the manufactor so i dont know if it sounds more bad than the woburn 2.. but they are pretty much similair looking both in leather and has grill. Tho the knobs on the Caliber HFG411BT dont have led lights or a app to ajust them and to adjust the sound with. So i guess the heavy pricetag has something to do with that too. Design or features dont actually mean much to me 😀 i would rather spend less and get the same thing than using to much money. Full volume it distorted. I sent mine back on Amazon. 550 bucks and it sounds no better than Costco ion. I play guitar and like Marshall amps and with their technology, there’s no reason for this to distort. They should have put 2 10” green back speakers in it with a bass port

Hello.i ‘ve recently bought this speaker and I noticed that when the volume is below 6 I could say it’s fairly quiet.is it normal or should I return it?
Hi, no need to worry. The sound does increase dramatically once you get past 5...volume settings 1-4 are very low but once you get to 5 and go past 6 it increases ALOT! It's annoying but normal. I enjoy the quality of the sound so the low volume settings of 1-5 doesn't bother me. thanks for watching!

Hi, I have the same problem. I had the first Woburn and I used to put in 2 ir 3 but in this model I have to put in 6 or more in order to have a similar sound. Everybody says that Woburn II is louder than first model but It doesn't seem!!!!I want my first Woburn back😭😭😭😭😭

Hi. I heard that Woburn 1 has sound distortion at Vol 5 Bass 5 Treble 5. What is the case for Woburn 2? I play a lot of EDM, RnB, Pop. Basically any good music including oldies.
It does not have sound distortion. On the 2 you can play pretty much anything you like and if you put in in the corner of your room the bass will improve amazingly. But i suggest to always be carefull of how loud you play songs because you never know what will happen... Overall its a really great speaker

Dixon Lim with heavy bass songs yes. But in my opinion you dont need to put it that loud even at 3/4 volume it will shake your room. In the 4 months i have had the speaker i bearly put it at max volume because its just to loud xd

Dixon Lim i mean if you want a party in your gym with hard bass nope but just for casual playing yes. Idk if the bass will fill the whole room but i dont think you would want that if its just back ground music. But if you want like a really bass heavy speaker for the gym just buy a outdoor speaker.
For $500 it had better push near concert level volume.

Love the look of this but the Naim Muso qb and even the bose soundtouch 30 sound so much better.
Dean Lawrence have not heard the Naim but i do not agree that the soundtouch 30 sounds better. There is just to much bass in it and does not really soud as good as the marshall does.

I do not recommend this speaker. You will like it for the first few weeks, and then you slowly realize how awful the sound quality is-for the price, of course. If all you're looking for is a deafening sound and bass, then get it. If you're an audiophile looking to play FLAC files or Tidal Masters, look elsewhere. You're better off getting a Vinyl system along with a proper DAC.
