The National was such a great experience. Glad I even got to stop by and say hi for a quick second leaving the show on Friday. The trade night was surreal and the amount of money being exchanged was wild. Hope I get to go next year for more than one day!
yeah, nobody cares that he spent $200,000 on overpriced sports cards. He needs to keep that sh!t to himself. Instead he splashes it all over the internet, on YT. Like it's something to proud of. Not sure what is keeping prices so high in sports cards. Prices have really softened (particularly in auctions) in the rare coin market over the past 5 months or so. Experienced collectors understand to hold off and wait for a needed correction to reset the market. Curious if that is happening in sports cards as well?
people are underwater... if you bought anything from 2020-2023 you are holding on for dear life hoping to get as much back as you can. sunk cost fallacy
I believe these TH-cam people pushing this new crap and the price they say they cost. I'm old-school sportscard collector, and I'm convinced this all hype and they are hurting the hobby.
You’re completely wrong, they boost and educate the people in the hobby. Get with the new world- radio, newspaper and collecting raw cards is the old school and not the way to make money anymore. Time to wake up and get with the times 💯
ebay ruined my 80s & 90s card collection because nothing was hard to find anymore. Seems like card companies realized this and are producing low number runs of cards with a lot more variations - along with autographs. That's what I've learned from his videos.
Ya forgot that during Covid when everything was shut down. All these people who spends thousands and thousands of money in casino or sports betting resort to sports cards. Also now you have sports athlete collecting their own rookie cards. I don’t blame where the hobby has gone but it definitely helped me out with all my cards from 2008 to 2019. Can someone explain to me how a card of Justin Herbert is worth so much more than Phillip Rivers or Eli Manning? Will the cards all of a sudden be worthless when he is done playing?
