- We bought a $300 pocket bike dirt bike from China and it is not as bad as we thought! This pocket bike has full suspension, inverted forks, front and rear breaks, a terrible weed wacker engine and most important to us an awesome body and frame to modify! It is leaking oil already! Surprised you guys never got into pit bikes!
Might wanna check the valve lash in these, They usually have them wound WAY too tight.
Might need to tune the carb after that pipe, probably running super lean now. Also maybe look into drilling out the weights in the clutch so they are a little lighter and grab at a higher RPM.

Adam Irace they cant put anything else in there the engine is bolted in on the side not the bottom and only those engines have that type of mounting not to mention that the whole frame is pit metal and can’t really be welded.
Adam Irace you make a very good point then if they do manage to I recommend a g290rc from ddm then port it bore it make everything billet ddm dominator pipe and it’ll be quick as shit we’re talking 40

I was laughing so hard at the “rip sesh” in the woods, too good! In general, I think you guys have been putting out some of the best build videos on TH-cam for the last couple years. I love that ghpc maintains an at-home og TH-cam vibe while still progressing and developing the channel. This video is such a good example of that!
Also, could be fun if y’all hosted a ghpc meetup/event/gathering of sorts, I’d gladly drive from Seattle to be there!

I'm surprised you only broke the bars and pegs! You might want to look at the 2 stroke engines for 1/5 scale RCs! BTW the tiny dirt bikes are known as "pit bikes". Another sick-assed project!

At 12:08 when Edwin lands the jump you can actually see the frame flex. As the rear tire makes contact the rake angle of the forks change. It still did better than I expected.

I went and looked at the building of the Mustang and it is not the same frame they had on it. Tho it might be a complete rebuild of it since it does look like the same motor.

Yes! I've been waiting for a 300 dollar mini bike build since I've been wanting to buy one. Eyes on the moto tec demon 50cc 2 stroke. First mods I wana do is handlebars and exhaust
bmx handle bars with pit/dirt bike risers and for more shock length Rear Shock Absorber Extender/Jack Up Kit had lot like that when i was young lad 😁

Look into the CY460R its available for $255 most places and its a 4.2hp 13000 rpm rated engine, with a mild tuned pipe and a piston skirt mod they rev to 16000+ and 6 ish HP with a good power band hit.

Great video guys! As for engine mods check out monster scooters. They have GY series two stroke 50 and 60cc Fuelie Clones. I put a bored 50cc with a nice big bore head kit on my pocket bike. MS has nice slide valve carbs and performance exhaust too.
In my country these bikes were really popular, everyone had one of these as kid, this bike was my first experiense with gas powered vehicles. These never worked right, alwas needed to fix them to get to ride for 5min. Learned lot from these bikes.
Lol I'e done something similar although it was fitted with an upgraded race tuned 2 stroke engine off ebay, the only issue I find is its ridiculously fast and scary as hell even when you're only doing about 40 mph especially if like me you're 6 foot 3, like the handle bar and foot peg mods though great idea! I also uprated the rear sprocket and am currently using the original torque converter rather than the racing clutch it came with, still a wheelie machine atm though, keep up the good work anyway guys, top videos!

the best way to get more power from little engines like that one is a carb, better flowing exhaust and a better clutch. the clutch that comes with those motors are soft and slip alot. i got a 49cc huasheng from bike berry for my friction drive scooter and it hauls for a little thing. I put carb from an 80cc 2 stroke bike engine on it bumped up the jet and made a free flowing exhaust it made a huge difference.

You guys are rad , my son and I watch all your content. We live down from you in post falls. When we are riding or hunting up north we are always joking about running into you guys out riding and coning you into letting him ride one of the builds. And we have learned alot from you guys , we have been wrenching on older quads and bikes and snowmobiles getting familiar and we have accumulated an old enticer 340 and a bunch of doner parts so when we save up for a welder we can build a woods buggy.

From the looks of it that looks like the mustangs wheels and engine, they're probably gonna re-do the frame and body make it more efficient and comfortable, maybe even faster.

Those jump starters are the same lipo batteries as in fpv drones. 3s, I pulled one apart and now run my mates RC car on it, goes hard for ages.

Anyway, I think it would be absolutely insane if your next addition to the jeep/overland rig would be a little radio/Bluetooth radio. Cool little addition if you could make it work! Just got rid of that type of dirt bike a few months ago and bought a 60cc Chinese bike. Just was tired of it not starting after the first few runs. Pull all day and nothing. Rebuild carb or put a new one on and it runs for a day or 2. Great beginner bike for 5+ year old though.
New Engine, thicker wheels, skid plate and extended frame on this thing and she’s mint
Go 2 stroke 49cc with advanced timing key full circle crank three piece billet head with windowed piston upgrade reed valves and nic3 fat exhaust with a quarter turn throttle and you should rip around on it.
Or go a polini or a blata motor from pocket rocket and they have from 13+ hp from 39cc or 49cc

I'm excited to see where this goes cause I have one! I have syx50 mine has a 50cc also but has a decentish exhaust on it.
I bought it to get my niece into riding ahe loves it.... I upgrades the rear shock and be careful the brakes are ass and the front fork rake is off bad, would be good with ski on front tho
