this looks yummy. but does the sodium bi carbonate affect the nutritional value in the veges,also what are the benefits of the bi carbonate in the body? can the mrenda be cooked plainly without that ingredient?
So yummy. The veges do not lose their nutritional value in any way and no, you can't do without the bicarbonate. I know of some people who use ashes as their bicarbonate instead and it works just fine too. As for the benefits of bicarbonate, I only know of reducing heartburn and mouth odour
