The 9 Club was crowded in SD, the 9's started early and didn't slow down... Next Event: SLS APEX 02: May 25th, for more information go to www.streetleague.com/
They just kept rolling them back to back. These dudes are unbelievable. I'm not a skater, couldn't ever figure it out, just absolutely love it and man...I can't get over how good these guys are.
i agree, but.... he did a massive toe drag. and whereas i think toe drags mean something on manuals or smaller tricks... on big stuff... i don't know. i'm gunna stand my ground and say that should've been docked more. dashawn is a beast and i'm a fan, but no 9 club trick should have a toe on the ground unless it's some sort of no comply. sorry dashawn.
yuto's trick @19:35 in case you're wondering... is nollie bs 180, (maybe you can throw in alley oop), in there..... to overcrook to rewind or forward . no more explaining tricks that say "switch to regular" or vise versa. if you ollie, nollie, fakie..... into any trick... you simply look at the trick as if you are rolling forward and explain it from there. switch is an exception... if your trick starts off switch... than the rest of the trick stays switch and follows rules for ollie, nollie fakie. really not that hard if you go by these rules that most of us that started skating before "switch" followed.
Gezz haven't watched SLS in awhile. I remember when getting a 9 was actually a hard achievement. They just hand them out now. No way all of these would've gotten a 9 back then....
Seeing a full half hour of nine clubs for a single mens event shows thats it no longer holds the prestige, i remember only a few people would be able to get into the nine club and even an 8.0 was hard to achieve now theyre just throwing then out to anything and anyone
@@SAsh-zg6ln so we shouldn't recognize them at all? that seems pretty regressive especially considering the amount of progress women's street has made because of skaters like Rayssa
Honestly that hoefler tricks getting old he does it every stop like that mistake made it different but I'm tired of him winning with s trick he does every time he's on the course
I agree, but to be fair they all have their signature tricks which are done repeatedly. I definitely think scoring should suffer when people repeat tricks in each comp though
Commentary got so bad since these two got a shot. Let me predict what they will say in the next event: "This was soooooo good/incredible" Interchangable for any trick made. "That was perfect/bolts" no matter if there was a sketchy landing. "i can't believe he did that/It almost got away from him" when a skateboarder is in full control. "Oh. My. God." said so weird that it seems ironically

@@Crystifodere Yea I know that! Half an hour of nines in one Contest is ridiculous 😂

No Rayssa Leal here, weird, I thought she got a 9. Why she isn't here?
Plot twist: someone replaced the judges rating buttons with only 9.0 and 9.1
9.1?

BS270 noseblunt got Nyjah a 9.9, now Midler does it in qualifying. The level of skateboarding has changed over the past years bud.
Well deserved 9's all round 👏👏👏

I guess women's 9 don't count since you didn't put Rayssa's 9 Club in here.
😂😂😂😂😂
No disrespect but womens 9 club isn’t as impressive

Yo…. Switch flip back lip is not an easy trick to pull off during a contest.
Nyjah does nollie or switch heel into something so often that it is no longer impressive to me.
100% agree
Take a vid of yourself. Ma Ninja...lol 😂

RIGGED
Lol this is one of the most pure sports that can only be rigged if a skater gets paid to lose. No rigging of course, judges, etc
Def rigged
Absolutely rigged
@@SAsh-zg6ln if you get a 9 +for an impossible then its rigged 🤣
