Beautiful spot for your vacation. The weather looks very warm and sunny. You'll be frozen to death when you get back. Glad you've had a great time. Arrive safe and sound. I look forward to the next video.
That is a nice resort Chuck. Nice big beach. This year was my very first resort vacation and it is true what they say. On a resort you really don't think of nothing else, wake up and go reserve you chair, have breakfast and think of what drink you will try today. Thanks for the video, I will show it to my friends and it might be our next destination. Cheers Steph
Not too bad. Middle of the line I’m guessing compared to other resorts we’ve visited in Dominican, Mexico, Jamaica and Cuba. Very refreshing for sure. And clean.
Thanks for the detailed review we have looked at this resort but we always end up back at the same resort lol...viv...we spent 3 years in GooseBay...viv
Beautiful property Chuck . We went to Punta Cana last year for the first time . We loved it . We may have to try this resort . It looks gorgeous. Thanks for sharing !
We had an awesome time. You have to be open minded when travelling down south of course, as every resort has its little quirks. However, after attending 10 resorts now in four countries, this was amongst the best. I suspect its price will elevate actually because of increased demand
Been at serenade 2x 2022,2023 and 3rd time on sept this year!!!!! The best all inclusive beach resort in the DR hands down!!!! Also Canadian from Alberta 🤟🏽
Ha - I suspect most people turned the video off once they saw those pathetic moves! lol!! (No one died eating the food I cooked which was the largest relief!)
I spend a great portion of the day lid in the shade lol. Occasional spurts of walking, exploring the beach line, and snorkeling. I never come back with much of a tan. That’s the least of my intent lol
Looks wonderful! We're looking to book our first vacation down south. Pre spring was here in Lab west earlier the week, We're back into winter mode.. lol Hope you all enjoyed your vacation!
Hey Chuck! It would be so hard to go ice fishing there. Would however make winter camping a bit warmer. As nice and beautiful as it all looks. I'm not a big fan of heat. If I go on vacation I'll be pointing my headlights north cause im told thats where the big fish are. It's nice to see you had a great time. Lots of food and I'm sure you kept well hydrated 😉. Chow for now!😊
Came back into a cold couple of days just to burst us back into reality lol. Now Im hopefully taking a large trip this weekend on snowmobile so switching gears for sure!!
@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors be some hard on the skidoo to go for a drive here on them. Other than a few snow banks from the plows there no snow again.
Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
I saw people in wheelchair(s) plus I recall someone with a wheeled walker. All walking areas were paved/concrete from one section to the other. As well, they offered a golf cart/ small bus transport around the resort that always seemed to be operating.
This one is quieter, smaller, newly renovated, and food is deluxe. More of a quiet, mature style. But, of course you can walk next door on the family side and partake in all of the festivities you like.
@@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors that would suit me very well. I did like the Royalton Splash very much though. My only reservation is if they will be building on the land next door as in some recent videos I saw large cranes. Thinking of noise during the day. But this hotel would be so much cheaper than Splash and almost looked too good to be true. Thanks Chuck.
We loved having the choice. It’s very peaceful on the adult side, especially in certain areas. We would recommend it, but that’s wholly and solely due to our lifestyle
Thinking about staying her in Sept 2024, looks beautiful but It looks like a lot of seaweed, I do know its nature but I would love crystal blue water. What are your pros and cons?
Very little seaweed during the day. Only early in the morning. But the workers remove it right away. A ton of pros. Too many to list. We loved it Maybe a con was that you had to go to the family side for some of the entertainment. Having said that, we didn’t mind that too much.
Hey Chuck, what a beautiful spot. I figured you would be out on the beach with your stove cookin up some moose sausages!!!! Hey by! Hope you had an awesome time. !!!
Thanks for the great video. We booked for the end of January 2025. :) Are the restaurants/buffet, theatres air conditioned? Did you feel like the food handling was good? cold things kept cold and hot things kept hot?
I’m not entirely sure where you would be but I’m fairly certain you’d be facing a wooded area which would be facing the building on the family side. But again, I’m not really sure.
For the most part, yes. I think there may be one or two that you can’t attend. We only went to the sports bar over there one day. We found the restaurants more than sufficient on the adult side
We saw this on the Facebook group, and so we avoided them. They make you “believe” you have to meet somewhere at a certain time. No you don’t. It’s your holiday and you paid for it. We never go to those meetings. They are on every resort hidden away somewhere. They realize when you’re keen to them though, and either a cold shoulder or an affirm “no” gets them off your back pretty quickly in my experience.
We went in Feb and for our particular package from remote Labrador we paid $2500 roughly. (Undoubtedly much cheaper for people who leave from a more urban area/ city)
Now come on now Chuck....tell the truth...you brought a fishing line and some hooks with you to go fishing! You must be wondering what fish you could catch in the ocean!
Haha. I watched people fishing with lines and even a casting net. They were after these small fish. I had no idea what they were but they reminded me of capelin. Not sure if they were catching them for themselves, or for sale. But they pursued them every day.
Looks amazing Chuck. Have a blast buddy! 🎉
Beautiful spot for your vacation. The weather looks very warm and sunny. You'll be frozen to death when you get back. Glad you've had a great time. Arrive safe and sound. I look forward to the next video.
It is so nice to go south to the Dominican Republic... Absolutely beautiful and beautiful people.

You summed it up well there my friend. I hope you get the chance to attend this one.
Great video chuck , looks like a great place to relax for a week or so . Thanks for sharing all the best
Looks like a great spot to get away from our chilly winters!
Thanx Chuck for the tour and recommendation.
Thanks for the awesome review! What a beautiful spot. Cheers
Great spot. Beautiful .Thanks.
Lots of sunblock for the white Labrador Skin!
Nice place !
Nice Video!
Beautiful place! Enjoy!
Thanks for the excellent video. How warm were the pools when you visited in February, please?
Not too bad. Middle of the line I’m guessing compared to other resorts we’ve visited in Dominican, Mexico, Jamaica and Cuba. Very refreshing for sure. And clean.

Thanks for the information we will be there in 2 weeks
Nice warm, clean, resort Chuck, the food looks Mmm Goood!!
It was literally like a dream Victor. And now that I'm back I can hardly believe it even happened!!
Looked like a very relaxing vacation spot.
the resort looks like paradise, you are blessed and well deserved r and r :)
It really did feel like we were in a dream. And now that we are back it's like we never were there....funny how that happens hey??
Thank you for the video...Well done. The property looks amazing and we will be there in December 2024. Cheers!
Great video. Chuck. We were there last year on the family side. The adult side was only being built. Loved it there and we may go back again
They are actually expanding now and building on the other side of the family resort. Will keep an eye on that
Beautiful property Chuck . We went to Punta Cana last year for the first time . We loved it . We may have to try this resort . It looks gorgeous. Thanks for sharing !
We don't normally return to a resort, but we would do this one again.
Great place Chuck! We were there 2 weeks after it opened. Had a wonderful time. Hope you did too!
We had an awesome time. You have to be open minded when travelling down south of course, as every resort has its little quirks. However, after attending 10 resorts now in four countries, this was amongst the best. I suspect its price will elevate actually because of increased demand
Nice how's the weather . Heading to Dominican tomorrow bring on the sun and sand ..have a great trip
weather was incredible. couple small showers which were actually refreshing
Been at serenade 2x 2022,2023 and 3rd time on sept this year!!!!! The best all inclusive beach resort in the DR hands down!!!! Also Canadian from Alberta 🤟🏽
How is the beach ? That is the biggest thing for me for my resort search , I see a lot of seaweed .
Looks like a beautiful place we are going to Nashville in may
Do you have your convoy hats picked up? Lol
The sexy wiggle was the best part. You did a better job showing this resort than any commercial could ever show. Looks beautiful.
Kenny
Ha - I suspect most people turned the video off once they saw those pathetic moves! lol!! (No one died eating the food I cooked which was the largest relief!)
Beautiful resort Chuck. You will need to chop a few cords of fire wood to lose the weight that you gained
. .lol. Have an awesome vacation my friend.
Hahaha. I’d say I will just park my skidoo and walk everywhere! 😂😂
Looks a bit too warm lol.awesome video take care
I spend a great portion of the day lid in the shade lol. Occasional spurts of walking, exploring the beach line, and snorkeling. I never come back with much of a tan. That’s the least of my intent lol

Had a great time sir - now its off to support a team or two in cains quest - skidoo time!!
Labador Canada 👍🏻

Thanks Chuck. We're headed down in Nov We booked one of the suites with Jacuzzi on the balcony.
B&A from London ON
We are due for a holiday Chuck and this video gives us an idea of what to expect....never been to Dominican Republic onl Cuba.
Both are nice countries. Beautiful people. Food might be a touch better in Dominican though. That’s what most say-as for me, I will eat anything lol
Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. @@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors That's great info man. Thanks!
Wife and I were there 2 weeks ago! Loved it! Will go back for sure!
It would be a resort I would return to as well - no hesitation
Did you pay a deposit when you booked your room? I just booked here and it says you don’t pay until you get there which is suspicious.
Awesome video. Thanks. I can't quite place your accent. Is it Cape Breton or Newfoundland? I'm thinking Newfoundland but I'm not quite sure.
I grew up in Newfoundland but moved to Labrador 30 years ago. Kept my accent lol
Hi Chuck, how does it compare with the Royalton Splash? I went there too. Thinking of visiting this hotel in December.
This one is quieter, smaller, newly renovated, and food is deluxe. More of a quiet, mature style. But, of course you can walk next door on the family side and partake in all of the festivities you like.

I’m watching this because I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it for the adults side vs the family side 😊 it’s quite a difference in price
We loved having the choice. It’s very peaceful on the adult side, especially in certain areas. We would recommend it, but that’s wholly and solely due to our lifestyle
Great video thanks for your content, short and straight to the point. One question how was the quality of the alcohol?
No complaints. As good as any other resort we’ve been on. The coffee bar had premium drinks there
How was the Wifi during your stay? I'm considering this resort for an upcoming trip.
Wifi was very good everywhere on the resort, including the beach
Nice spot down there. Guess you rather labrador thou. Nothing bets in the woods doing stuff.
As much as I love my vacations down South, I really look forward to the Labrador winters - especially March and April month!
Thinking about staying her in Sept 2024, looks beautiful but It looks like a lot of seaweed, I do know its nature but I would love crystal blue water. What are your pros and cons?

Where’s the wood stove ? LOL enjoy friend….
haha....was hugging the air conditioning unit instead!!
I think that snow in your driveway is waiting for you
Ha. Took me 1.5 hours with my tractor to get it all cleared. Kinda fun though when you have the proper equipment to help you along 👍
welcome back to Canada@@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors
Hey Chuck, what a beautiful spot. I figured you would be out on the beach with your stove cookin up some moose sausages!!!! Hey by! Hope you had an awesome time. !!!
Hot enough down there I could have cooked them on any rock!! lol
Thanks for the great video. We booked for the end of January 2025. :) Are the restaurants/buffet, theatres air conditioned? Did you feel like the food handling was good? cold things kept cold and hot things kept hot?
Yes air conditioning inside restaurants. Food was top notch.
@@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors thanks so much for the quick response!
That resort is quite impressive! You did an amazing job showcasing it! Im curious how much did you pay and what did it include?
We departed Montreal, and stayed 7 nights. $2800.
@@ChuckPorterEverythingOutdoors is that per person?
Great video! How about transportation from the airport to the hotel? What will be your recommendation?
It was on the bus and we were there in about 25 minutes. No issues.
Can someone let me know how the restaurant work at this resort? Is it first come first serve or reservation only?!?
Reservations for some but most you just walk in
Enjoy my country we are good people 🤍💙❤️🇩🇴🇺🇸
Absolutely beautiful souls my friend - i LOVED the people ❤️❤️
We have a garden view swim up is it facing the other Serenade family side or its in the other building?
I’m not entirely sure where you would be but I’m fairly certain you’d be facing a wooded area which would be facing the building on the family side. But again, I’m not really sure.
Gotta treat yourself (and the wife) every now and then 👍
Good to get away and reset yourself
How’s the food? Our main priority is for a good food. We’re not too picky but appreciate good food
The food was one of the selling points for us. Top quality when compared with other resorts we’ve been to in the Dominican
Chuck its all adults ! Your too young…….. at heart ❤ enjoy.
I agree!!! lol!!
can guests from serenade all suite use restaurants from serenade punta cana??
For the most part, yes. I think there may be one or two that you can’t attend. We only went to the sports bar over there one day. We found the restaurants more than sufficient on the adult side
Did you run into the XPAND guys all trying to coax you to go and meet someone on the 4th floor to sell you a timeshare?
We saw this on the Facebook group, and so we avoided them. They make you “believe” you have to meet somewhere at a certain time. No you don’t. It’s your holiday and you paid for it. We never go to those meetings. They are on every resort hidden away somewhere. They realize when you’re keen to them though, and either a cold shoulder or an affirm “no” gets them off your back pretty quickly in my experience.
Is it a really big resort?
The adult side isn’t real big. Makes it easy to walk through. If you walk over to the family side, then it doubles, if not triples in size.
what did you pay? also a canadian. and what month did you go?
We went in Feb and for our particular package from remote Labrador we paid $2500 roughly. (Undoubtedly much cheaper for people who leave from a more urban area/ city)
Hey does the resort smell bad ?
Not at all. And there’s no seaweed even on the beach so not even that associated smell that is evident on other resorts.
I'd rather be at your off grid cabin!
Haha. I kinda win either way I guess. Consider myself very lucky!!
