This is why i like what you do, I always look up what happened at APP but just never watch APP. Videos like you help me condense the research and just wait for your recap and see what matches i can go back and watch
The talent difference between APP and PPA is just undeniable. As some other comments mentioned, many gold medal winners in APP would have a hard time making a semi final in PPA. It's seems like it's inevitable that the APP will fold eventually. Between APP, MLP and PPA, there is just too much events. Even an avid pickleball fan will be inundated with content. And there's probably not enough demand to have strong attendance at all these events.
APP these days are just very nostalgic most of the time, I will never forget JW and Jorja's absolite dominance in APP. Purple Jesus and Erik Lange are my favorite team right now in APP and in Challenger MLP
I like to watch APP, MLP and PPA -the production value varies and determines if I watch all the matches or not. I’ve gone in person and stayed all four days and really enjoyed it. Hopefully the leagues will get better at broadcast and fan engagement in the coming year but I love to watch pro pickleball like others get hooked on football, basketball and baseball. Definitely love SNS recaps! 🥰😂
14:19 Jill was looking right at it, but Megan was turning around and only caught it in her periphery. I can't STAND when people try to make linecalls when they've yanked their head around to barely catch a view of the moment the ball bounces out of the corner of their eye. It always looks out, even when it's way in. She has no business making any call at all, and Jill has no business calling it out.
9:59 Soooo...are we not gunna talk about Newell BLASTING Jill in the face, and then not only does she take a hard pass on saying sorry, she doesn't even offer the polite formality of a hand up to pretend she's sorry about it. NAH - instead she lets out a shriek of victory, turns around beaming with delight while Cederquist cheers with both hands in the air, both of them laughing with glee. We not touchin' that? K. Cool.
@@sorrynotsorrypickleball The level of play is not quite as high at PPA, but in terms of production value they crush PPA, who manages to mess up the scoreline almost every single game I've ever watched.
@@AMurderOfLobs I think the announcers are much better in the PPA. And now that they have close call replay, thats better too. Production is fine in PPA. Other than center court is a little sketchy but at least they attempt to show all the matches they can
@@rburnsiv I like Dave Fleming. Michele McMahon is annoying, just taking the role of the clueless first time viewer. It's like...nobody who doesn't play pickleball is watching some quarterfinal men's singles match - i don't need her to ask "So why's it important to get that deep return" for me. And they NEED to fire whoever they get to manage the scoreboards, because I see rampant mistakes nearly every time i watch...and not just the score not updating quickly, i mean players names spelled way wrong, the scoreline being backwards for the entire MATCH - meaning across multiple games, which means there isn't a single additional person watching from PPA that notices it and gets a message to them to fix it. It's an inexcusable level of incompetence. And they also do dumb shit like refuse video challenge replays due to technical difficulties, even though there is literally a giant video screen behind the court showing the same slow motion replay that provides a conclusive insight into the correct call. Or they'll provide some other arbitrary nonsense like "there's no challenges when the game is relocated indoors due to rain." And I also resent them for colluding with Joola behind closed doors and creating a for-profit approval agency (PPL) just to approve Joola's latest round of paddles with totally unhinged levels of power that weren't approved by USAP.
AAAGHH TH-cam keeps silently deleting my comments, the first time because I posted a link to one of my videos, and the second time I disguised the link by just giving the coded suffix for the video. ANYWAYS , I'm going to try this again but just telling you what to search for so TH-cam doesn't flip the f-word out.
True. A lot of the APP players are in the challenger mlp and not premier league. Still enjoy some of the matches though especially when all we see in PPA are the same cast of characters making it to semis week in and week out at the PPA. I also like when some of the top APP players play in the PPA open tournaments.
APP seems weird to me. I like PPA better, structurally, but their production value can really be terrible. MLP leagues are sort of fun, I'm coming around to it, maybe, a little bit. PPA best overall.
I get ppa has its production issues (scoreboard, cutting to commercial too early, etc.) but it does make me feel closer to the action. APP makes me feel distant, idk how else to describe it. I feel like its the audio - in PPA you can hear the players better, and in APP it's a little more drowned out.
@@sorrynotsorrypickleball You might have nailed it, SNS. I like how close to the action I feel with PPA. I'm with you. If PPA can improve the production a tad, it will be really fantastic. The one thing that drives me nuts in the edited matches is that they give up the results of other matches! And I don't necessarily watch them in order. 😤But overall, I really enjoy them. They have mostly good commentators, as well.
Funniest guy in pickle. I don’t watch APP but for your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you
Funny the biggest hook of the week comes from the women's team that won. haha
Your tournament recaps are the best in the business.
Thank you
I also don't watch APP (or MLP,) but dig the "hooks" section!
lol hooks are everywhere

ohhh man it was so fun watching APP back in like 2022. Zane vs. JW was awesome.

I don't watch APP. Where does it stream. A lot familiar faces and some complete unknowns in this episode. Always enjoy coming to Sorry Not Sorry!
TH-cam and ESPN+
I enjoy APP, kinda like it a little more over PPA actually. Its definitely over looked and good to see it get covered.
Why?
Interesting! What makes you like it more?
