Actually have a video on this planned. Summary is basically, both are great shoes and you can't go wrong. I think the Mach X2 is more bouncy and more cushioned. Zoom Fly 6 feels a little more traditional. The heel lock on the Mach X2 is bad.
Disclaimer: I have not run in the Pro 4:) But if it' s a Training Shoe I don' t think you need the Carbon Plate of that one. Like I said, this kind of shoe is ideal there as it feels related but will be a bit more gentle under foot.
It looks a bit like a trend. Wider bottom, wider toebox, cushioned but still stable... All things I love, I run the Superblast at the moment. I'm interested in the Mach X2 but 5mm drop is a bit low for me and I'm not a big fan of Hoka...
@@didiervanrompaey Yeah, definitely a trend but this shoe does it right because it' s still light and doesn't feel like a boat underfoot. Superblast - Interesting! I never tried that one before actually. Obviously a super popular model though. I rarely(if ever) talk about drop in my videos because I mostly feel like it doesn't affect me much. I did pick up the Glycerin 21 though out of sheer curiosity. That has a 10mm drop. Thanks for watching, as always!
@@robin29991 Yeah I had achiles problems in the past and a low drop is to demanding for those boys. I have 8mm drop and everything is fine so I stay away from lower drops for the moment. Not gonna search for trouble 🙂
@@Nextman916 Definitely a possibility. You might risk worsening the heel slip though. Personally find the shoe already a bit too long. Yep, similar to the Mach 6.

Hey Andrea, glad you enjoyed it:)
I would say stick to your normal Running Shoe size. It's a pretty narrow fit but otherwise true to size.
Hoka Mach X 2 or Nike Fly 6 ?

Where did you buy the shoes from in Luxembourg?
@@jhonjoeplant99 Got them in Trier at City Sport:)
I am between hoka mach x2 vs saucony pro 4. My purpose is speed training, sometime pace 6 (km). Could you give me some advices?

How is the room around the toe box? Hoka has always been too narrow for me which I hate!
@@HM-qe9pd Very narrow as well and really pointy in the toebox. It squeezes your toes together...
I’d size .5 up, Hoka said at TRE that this is built off the exact same last as the Mach 6.
