Indianapolis Motor Speedway the Motor Racing Capital of the World. Well known for the one event that occurs near the end of May known as the Indianapolis 500. Also known as the “Brickyard”. This circuit has hosted some the most prestigious auto racing series besides Indycar. Series include Intercontinental GT Challenge, NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, IMSA SportsCar Championship, Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, Trans-Am Series, GT World Challenge America, Formula One, MotoGP, Ferrari Challenge North America, Porsche Supercup, International Race of Champions (IROC) and even the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Other than the 2.5 mile oval (4.023km) there’s is a road course configuration. The configuration of the road course has changed over the years based on the racing series. This course configuration is 14 turns and a length of 2.439mi (3.295km) and is located in Speedway, Indiana.
