Elsa, the mother of all mothers and a control-freak, is completely upset about the messed-up proceeding of the Christmas feast. Her supervision is gliding away and she sings hatefully to her daughter-in-law this nice Brünhilde-like Aria.
A translation of the piece in English language is certainly possible.
