Without false vanity, this piece is drop-dead gorgeous, like Yoko-san, when performed well. I submitted a transcription to the Guggenheim Foundation as supporting evidence for a composer's grant, back in 2010. That effort was futile as I was one in a field of 3,000 candidates. Realistically, Guggenheim only funds seated university faculty. Art music isn't designed for entities like these.
