Baguette Gott well here’s two FACTS for you 1. It is canon, you can’t have an opinion on whether it is canon or not, that’s like having an opinion on whether or not sound travels through a vacuum. It doesn’t, end of conversation. Cursed Child is officially canon, end of argument. The second thing is that Rowling understands her characters and universe far better than any fan, she has fashioned an incredible world with gripping people and places whilst the best that most of her fans have fashioned are terrible fan fiction and ill-informed theories. Rowling knows better than you why Voldemort would have a child, just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean it can’t have happened in the story. The Harry Potter fandom is becoming as toxic as the Star Wars fandom and it’s really sad.

When I was in high school, we told all the freshmen there was a pool but only the swim team could access it. No such swim team or pool existed. Though apparently a lot of the freshman believed it well into sophomore year (maybe some even beyond that). :P :)

Actually, in the books and on all web sources I can find, it is spelled gineVRa, not gineRVa. We see the spelling on page 141 of Deathly Hallows, when Auntie Muriel is complaining about how Ron looks at the wedding.

I really love this song because I feel that it sums up the books so well! I remember in seventh grade savouring the end of the series --- I was so devestated when it was over! This song doesn't feel restrained to an ending or a beginning, it just keeps the series alive! It's such an uplifting feeling!

Maggie Henderson actually, the prefects' bathtub isn't hidden, and it has soap/bubble jets. I completely understand it may have jets, but there was SOAP. What pool would have soap? I assume the hidden pool has an entrance sort of like Dumbledore's office (say a password and a statue moves to reveal a staircase), but I'm not sure where it is or what the statue is.
