- Amazing find this 1800's farm house is still set up like you could walk in and begin the days chores. See all the old things we find in here from Locks, Keys, beds, old photo's and all the kitchen, every thing is as it was.
A great explore, a lot of historical everyday items, this is a time capsule.
It is not a criminal offence to enter an open property in South Australia

Thanks mate. I did this video back in the visit in june. This was my second time as I had lost all my explores from up there when I lost my phone. So having the rainbow lead me there as I was searching for the place again was really cool. Was meant to be. I show wanted to show you this at the time. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@Pocket-Watch that’s awesome, the rainbow led you there 🙏🏻🥰
I haven't seen a water tank like that before. It would be interesting to compare that street directory with its modern equivalent. ⚓
These were common on pioneer farms. With Australia extreme heat in summer, deeply dug and covered water tank ensured that the water stayed cool and evaporation was little. All water for household and humans was rain water. The water for animals and crops was bore water pumped up by windmills, which wasn't really fit for human consumption. This was water was close to the house and you didn't have to walk into the paddock and pump it from the windmill. Thanks for watching and commenting
Yes, I've had some experience of bore water up north. Let's just say it's not Mount Lofty Springs. 🤣
Great vid Watchy... Love all the old bottles and kitchen utensils left..they retroed it up in the 60's with pastel colours. Looks liked they just got up and left or they died without anyone taking over? Cheers.
What usually happens on these farms is that when the next generation takes over they build their own more modern bigger home elsewhere on the farm and just step away from the old family house and leave everything they have no use for behind. Hence why these places become such in situ time capsules. I have seen this time and again. Thanks for watching and commenting
so sad to see these old farm house,s left to rot
I know and to see the old family photos and all the old stuff left in them as well. Thanks for watching, commenting and sharing this out
