This guy is actually really good. You always see undead using skeletons and ghouls, or crypts using beetles and skeletons, but never all 3. That's an insane level 1/2 opening, nearly 20 unit army
dispel is strong but he was going to lose final fight no matter what tbh
The more weak summons you use the more xp you feed to your opponent's heroes. That's why you never see so many weak summons used, it's a terrible strategy.
@@zxbc1 yes and no. summons may still give XP and be pretty weak, but they actually only give something like 50% the normal amount of XP a non-summon gives. the real issue is that using so many summons is just a much harder playstyle. so many hardcounters, takes more micro, takes a lot more harassment and scouting, and the smallest mistakes compound on you so much harder than anything else because it's harder to replace your units. it is just such a high demand and risk for hardly any benefit compared to a normal strategy.
Back when I was playing WC3 a long time ago, I was playing HU vs. UD, and my opponent went with a mass Necro Skellie Wagon army. I thought I could hard-counter with Footmen, Priests, and Brilliance Aura, but I neglected my micro. To my surprise, my Priests eventually went OOM (maybe I spammed Dispel too much), and my opponent eventually overwhelmed me. I was surprised, to say the least.

I think these days "gg" can be said when you mean it or just as a courtesy. "gg wp" is said when you mean it and you feel that not only was the game good but the opponent played well.

I used to play this along time ago, Necromancers + Ghouls + Wagons for insane amount of melee and Range Skeletons just overwhelms the enemy army
Maybe they didn't want to leave.
They just held Alt to see HPs and pressed some ability mapped to Q two times! XD
Going for the necromancer skeleton zerg, and got shut down hard by disenchant. But even so, would never have won since it was a lvl4 hero vs two lvl5s and a lvl3

Why does Grubby ask if the opponent would like to share race? Is it just a courtesy/high elo culture thing if some goes random?
If I know my opponent is not as good as me from early exchanges, I go over 50 food straight away - I feel like making it to the late game will ensure my win.
11:30 why do pros often leave the tomes dropped by creeps lying around? I remember seeing that back in the day too and never understood it. It's just free stats, no?

I really miss the old WC3 days, it's just that my hands hurt every time I play at high APM, but when I play at low APM I always lose.

5:00 was like movies. Where enemy has trash units and failed to protect their king getting assasinated. Where as your grunts are beefy like bodyguards protecting their chieftain like chadlords.

Hey grubby! New player here. Having trouble deciding on what my “starting army” should be. I enjoy both orc and UD. Which one do you think I should go forward with as a newbie? I know this game is micro focused so maybe the army. That’s more forgiving of mistakes if that makes sense?
Only focus on one race.
I remember grubby saying once that ud was the race he liked less because it was so hard to play.

actually ... i thought about it once, about the power of words and thoughts. and i thought about which words to use for goodbyes. and i actually would like, and truly do wish people a good day. the way i see it, it might even be purely logical and selfish: the better the day of those people you interact with in any capacity, the higher the chances they wont make it miserable for you, or even might make your day better ... directly or inderectly.

what are you doing with your goldmine peons and why?
i've shift clicked and just clicked but idk what difference its makes.
If you put a peon in a gold mine and let it auto-mine, when returning it to your base it pauses for a moment, so manually clicking at the right time gives the unit a new command so they immediately go back to the mine instead of pausing. It's a very (Very) miniscule benefit. Usually not beneficial to focus on because it takes so much attention that you will miss other things that are going on.
gg should not be forced upon people.
