Each culture loves their grandparents. I wish my Nanna and Poppy was still here. Best Sundays dinners. Macaroni, meatballs, sausage,pork. Veal or chicken cutlets. Artichokes, antipasti etc. Wonderful. When we were little. Ging😂ersle with a little wine. We were so happy ❤️❤️❤️

I love the idea of the eggs. I’m from New Orleans which has a large Italian population and I have some Italian ancestry and some of the recipes you show are so similar to the more rustic New Orleans recipes. Not the ones that everyone knows but the lesser known versions

@@jmc8076 large Italian , French and irish populations. A large majority of white and black people have a mixed heritage of those. It’s a port city so it attracted many European immigrants.

They’ll never do it. Big box corp places run for profit. Quantity over quality. Cheap, fast and convenient. Sadly in high demand. Also tonnes of food wasted daily at big restaurants as most laws prevent it from being donated even to churches for homeless. Off to landfills. Sorry I’m not a crazy social warrior it just bothers me when good healthy food is so easy to make as Nonna shows and so many who need it who’d gratefully eat what’s left over at end of day incl children. I’ll stop now. Peace and health.✌️

Big meatballs with tomato sauce, as we see on that table (5:12), in Italy are made to eat as a second course, after eating pasta.

I wanna know how to make those baby meatballs!! Does she use a melon baller? My grandma used to make these little meatballs too (slightly larger) and I never knew how she had the patience to stand there for what feels like hours to ball up all that meat, haha.
