I really like that the orientation of the luggage pass-thru matches the orientation of the easy-access pocket and the admin compartment. More bags need to pay attention to this detail.
I think bags like this are going to get more and more popular among those of us who WFH and want a one-bag solution when we travel to the office for 2 or 3 days.
I just think that the Topo Designs Global Briefcase 3-day was the absolute best personal item-size 3 way carry bag. It is such a shame they discontinued it! I hope some company remakes a similar style bag with similar dimensions, with maybe a sleeker look.
How does the laptop sleeve handle 2 laptops? I currently carry an Asus ROG G14 (14 inch gaming laptop) and a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 (14 inch ultrabook) and am wondering if the ultrabook fits in the laptop sleeve and if the zipper can handle it since the G14 is quite thick
That will depend on the combined thickness of the devices, yeah, with gaming laptops you might be stretching it. Way to go here typically is ask Osprey directly with your dimensions and confirm it with them.
For me iam missing information of 2 of the most importatnt things in this review , volume in liters and weight. I travel with carry on only and some airlines like thaiair international have 7kg limit on the bag so its very important if the bag weighs 450grams or 2.5 kg Sometimes i use a wheeled carry on sometimes a bag that is similar to duffelbag that has a long sling over shoulder. I must say that i dont think most travellers have a need for a backpack carry on amnd it looks very bad i think carrying like a backpack ive tried many many bags over time ( iam 58 years now ) and i much prefer the lighter material options over a a bag that weigshs a lot and maby lasts for 50 years . Please review some of my favorite bags of today , Fjällraven highcoast duffel 36 , Fjallraven high coast totepack ( best daybag ever made , lightweight versatile carrying ) Osprey Daylite Carry-On Wheeled Duffel 40 These bags are lightweight durable and have versatile carrying option . no, not even United Airlines. it has too much structure and dimensions are too big.
It absolutely does. It's just a 18"tall, 20L Bagpack.
Can see why there's no water bottle pocket due to the need to fit two orientations, but it kinda stings that there isn't one.
I dont understand people that keeps their phone in the outer pocket?
