@@ronanjager3829 it kinda is in India, but in America and elsewhere, it's something fresh and new with great production value, probably that's why it's such a huge hit.
Could the show have been better? Yes. Do I wish it wasn’t crammed into six episodes? Yes. Am I content with what we got and LOVE Iman Velani’s acting? YES!
The first episode set up the conflict between Kamala and her parents perfectly, and then series forgot about it until the finale. Why on earth would anyone forget their own pilot episode? It's the biggest one meant to introduce the main plotline of the series.
Watching this makes me so very sad that they’re changing Kamala’s costume in The Marvels. It’s literally so perfect here. Honestly one of the best, not overly designed, suits of the entire MCU.
Wait, they are??? Noooooooo, I love her suit! It's exactly the thing a dorky teenager would wear & it's the most comic accurate costume I've seen in the MCU.
@@thedailybullshit4033 Yeah :( honestly, it’s a perfect suit. Idk why they would mess with it. Ya don’t have to have a new suit EVERY movie. She’s not Iron Man.

@@scarletspidernz wait a minute. Are you one of those delusional Indian movie fans that think a foreign youtuber is reacting to Indian movies because it's good? Yeah, no, they do it for the views. Heck, foreign people dance to fxxking Vijay songs calling him "thalapathy Vijay Anna". They do whatever gets them views. I don't think I can convince you realise how stupid this movie is, (since you're no fan of physics) but all I can say is, stop bringing to the rest of Indians.
I think her thing is "embiggen" or "enbiggen" or something. I wasn't familiar, but they did that thing that Marvel does where they kinda pull the line out of nowhere, zoom in and stop everything for five seconds (like the Krasinski moment) so the audience can gaze and... marvel, and those unfamiliar with what's going on can know that something is going over their heads.
I can't wait for the video where they say "hey, some distant relatives did some nasty stuff in the past, but current generations have shared their technology, their entertainment, their trade, their medicine, and their education with us. They send us aid (all the time). They support us geopolitically. They don't have to do any of this and while it surely benefits those god awful Westerners, we also got a LOT out of it. Thanks guys! We are so grateful that Putin and Winnie don't run the show". No, nothing? Ok. Par for the course around here
I've gotta be honest, the main thing that Ms. Marvel accomplished is making me want to read the comics instead. The visual effects on her powers are just...not very good. Neither did the plot grip me particularly well either. The main thing I'll give it credit for are some pretty creative visuals otherwise. I really liked the way text messages appeared in the environment, for instance.
I think it’s because the whole “stretchy human powers” thing is hard to make look good in live action, and that’s why they changed her powers for this (and even then they still don’t look great).
@@James-zi5en No thanks. I have no interest in being a teacher. Though, here's a free lesson to make up for it: People have differing opinions. Things like "I didn't like the plot" or "I thought the visual effects didn't look good" are examples of opinions. When people have these personal opinions, and they differ from your own, it's not a personal attack on you or your own personal tastes. One person can like something, while another person dislikes it, and both can be equally valid positions to hold. Once you understand that differences in opinions aren't personal attacks, perhaps you won't feel defensive when someone has a different opinion than yours. You may even feel less compelled to lash out at people who have those differing opinions. It's much less stressful that way, and you'll be happier for it.
It's weird that show was a little overstuffed with subplots but was still about an hour too long . The first two or three episodes were delightful and then the show bogged itself down. The only reason I can think of them 'burying' the best episodes behind Kenobi is that Kenobi itself was already going downhill. might have prevented people from rage quitting the service.
Ya because the first 2 episodes were done like the comics even though the character was massive different from her comic book counterpart it still had that ms marvel street high school hero energy witch it drops until the finale but by then we have gone so far away from what the character was it really isn't ms marvel at all
Agreed, they should have spent more time in Jersey City and showing Ms. Marvel building up a connection to the community. The Pakistan backstory was cool, but they should not have spent so much time there, and the world ending thing was just boring. Honestly I think this highlights one of the main problems with the MCU. They don’t really do any friendly neighborhood superheroes, who are just dealing with take over the city villains instead of end the world villains. MCU Peter Parker had a similar problem, where his movies were about saving the world from massive danger and didn’t really show the “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” after the first movie. Hell, the only MCU thing I can think of off the top of my head that doesn’t involve some massive galactic, world ending or at least country ending thing off the top of my head is the Hawkeye series. The whole “world ending” thing only works if it’s done sparingly, not every single movie, and even then not all superheroes save the entire world. Some just save a city, or a few people, or help protect a community. They should spend more time showing that in the MCU, I think it would really benefit them.
Exactly, the first three episodes were enjoyable, but then it really started to get messy and all the development went to the drain, alongside the cool daydreaming effects that they gave to Kamala in the first episodes (and that were very present in the trailer). I also do not like that they changed her powers and even worse they made her a mutant rather than an inhuman, we already have inhumans in the MCU (thanks to "Agents of Shield", "Inhumans" and "Multiverse of Madness") so what was the problem?!
To me, the first half of the show didn’t interest me because Kenobi’s final episodes were overshadowing Ms. Marvel. But after a rewatch couple months later, it feels much better
When will people learn, everything was better in the 20th Century...except the internet access, you kids can have that one. But yes there are no bad reasons to play the 90's X-Men theme...Disney even did it in Multiverse of Madness with Professor X showed up.
So MCU executives got together one day, pitched 2 "stories"; She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel, they puked and got fever at how bad the scripts were, after that they got a huge laugh and said; "they'll still watch it cause it's MCU", then they placed bets to see which one was the worst made of the both of them :)
Ms. Marvel was literally the first comic book I ever bought, and that was because I basically told my parents “She’s Muslim like us! The first Muslim superhero in Marvel, and it’s the Ms.Marvel”, to this day she’s still my favourite superhero! I hope the studio does her justice when she becomes an X-men!
Well, that makes sense then. No self respecting Pakistani-American would play anything other than an Indian. Her being Canadian, and not from any of the Americas, is the answer to this conflict of ideals.
Marvel needed to have more Captain Marvel stories before they introduced her fan club. It doesn't make any sense at this point in the MCU. Captain Marvel hasn't done anything yet. She was introduced, got punched by Thanos and then ran away. Nobody is going to sidekick for that.
I think they're just getting off the mileage that she was in and out of Earth for five years during the Snap though yeah it'd work better if we actually seen that
uh... the avengers were losing before she came in and blew up thanos' ship single handed. they were getting bombarded - after she killed off thanos' ability to call for an air strike they rallied. if not for her, they probably would have lost.
@@benwasserman8223 But she doesn’t have to be 16 in the show. I want the gorgeous Iraqi chick from the show “From” to be Ms. Marvel. I ask for so little. Why won’t the gods give me this?

Hell yeah. This one was good but we need an RRR Honest Trailer!
Go back to school.
It's much less stressful that way, and you'll be happier for it.
getting ypu to want to read the comics is an amazing accomplishment...cause they were pretty terrible

@@ehtishamkhan2004 yes, because of you fanboys. It's become unrealistic.
@@ronanjager3829 I haven't even seen the movie, just commented on you being pressed at the fact that others liked it.
First 3 episodes were great then it went standard marvel world is ending blah blah
So the 90's X-Men theme is just the official theme for all things mutant-related.
