I will never forget hearing Faustus for the first time in 2016 on Mark Radcliffe’s Folk Show on Radio 2. This was purely by accident as I wasn’t even into folk music. But I was so struck by their song ‘Slaves’ that my attention was piqued, and before I knew it, I had bought and downloaded the album ‘Broken Down Gentlemen’ which I listened to over-and-over again. I felt like I had discovered gold. I knew there was something incredibly special - and different - about this trio, and after a ton of research about Paul, Benji and Saul, I booked solo tickets whenever they played at the Slaughtered Lamb in Putney. Every performance was intuitive and seamless, and just a joy to watch. I only wish I hadn’t been so shy and approached them at the bar to say hello. I fell in love with Paul’s rich timbre of his voice. There’s something so grounding, as though he’s connecting with our ancestors. My favourite song has to be ‘Og’s Eye Man,’ which was always played last. Rest in peace, Paul.
Hi all...eermmm. John's silver suit is obviously 'ironic'....certainly taking the piss out of the overblown pop macho man cabaret Las Vegas entertainer ( I thnk...I hope I'm right!) and yes they are without doubt the best live band around. I can't get enough of this talent collective. Keep it up lads...and that amazing lass! Love you all!
Hey y'all. Here's a funny thing: I'm a Dutchman, playing Irish music (which is considered kinda funny anyway, but I couldn't care less, actually). Now,, watching Bellowhead, I find myself longing for a Dutch band that can treat Dutch traditional music the same way Bellowhead treats theirs....Sort of a Fungus 2.0... I'm game...

Easily the best bellowhead song ever! Why has is go so little viewers?
I love instrumentals with obscure names, and no explanation. And I certainly love Bellowhead!

Nice track. Hope the 'silver suit' came from a charity shop and wasn't full price.
