@krozeodan ghosts are definitely real to some extent. Many many years ago my clock launched off the wall at full force to the other side of the room shattering immediately. It was like somebody picked it up in a rage and threw it full force into the wall. Yet I was the only person in the room... I've still been unable to explain how it happened and I've been going over theories in my head for the past 15 years.
Wow I’ve always wanted to visit the Great Plains. I live in wooded/farm lands but nothing like Wild West type. How is it ? RDR made me want to be a cowboy 🤣
I had a weird experience in Tumbleweed way back, shortly after the game came out. Hearing the online rumours about the town being haunted, I went there specifically looking for ghosts. I cleared out the bandits and hung around the mansion until nightfall, but nothing was happening. Getting bored, I started shooting at the wrecked piano that sits in the middle of the main room. I don't know if that's what triggered it, but out of nowhere, small animals started spawning in the room and running away, out of the door and down the steps of the mansion, one at a time... Raccoons, armadillos, badgers etc. I don't know if it was a glitch, or what... It seemed too random to be an Easter egg.
DUDE! Thank you for introducing this forgotten piece of Red Dead history. I use to eat up RDR1 mystery channels back then, this game can really creep you out and often has the player use their imagination
So you guys remember the part when Arthur returns back to the camp in the swamp during his illness?. After you talk to Dutch and stand there for a minute he will say “what are you waiting for? , I thought you were concerned about saving lives Arthur??” You can hear the sarcasm in his voice Dutch never cared about the gang.
Dutch cared about the gang. He was genuinely a good guy. The blackwater incident and Micah are what started to change him. And then he fully lost it when Hosea died.
Gonna need a source for this claim..... The fact he even attempted the Blackwater Heist kinda belies the claim he cared about the gang; it was incredibly reckless and borderline $uicidal.
I remember being 6 years old in 2011 and believing every one of these myths were true and spent countless hours trying to track these legends down. This video brough back some amazing childhood memories. Thank you Fizhy!
The Blackwater ghost is 100% legit. I walked into the Blackwater bank about 8 years ago on a playthrough before I knew it was a thing and there was a man on the bench outside reading a paper and I heard the line "I know you, you killed me" and I shat bricks and went back outside and he was gone. But because I am an idiot, I spent about 2 minutes walking around trying to see if the npc simply got up and walked off, so when I hit record it didn't capture him saying the line, just me walking back outside 😂

Just to add a little bit of credence to the Tumbleweed church being haunted, even if the town is now abandoned, there wouldn’t be any evil spirits there. So funfact about Tumbleweed. I think the main reason people feel it is haunted, is it is possible to accidentally avoid the script trigger for the town fight before the house. See you have to start that fight to open the mansion up, as enemies run out if the mansion to attack. If you avoid the town, the mansion enemies spawn but can’t physically get to you, nor can you enter the house, leading to “ghost voices and footsteps”, you can hear from outside, which eventually led to the ghost lady myth
Exploring the southwestern edge of the map in RDR2's epilogue always carried a strange feeling for me. A sort of nostalgia tinged with a slight wrongness. The first Red Dead Redemption is so interesting, it was obviously an 'experiment' for Rockstar as they were developing their new RAGE engine along the game, while also testing a completely new genre for them. I shot a rabbit in the base game years ago and when i went to skin it i realized it had horns like a Jackalope. I used to have a picture on my old phone because my friends didn't believe me
If they make a sequel with Jack and the Ranch is a thing... he makes the comment of a Dog barking. His wife asks what dog he is mentioning because they don't own a dog, at all. Whenever you are wanted hugely and stuck at the ranch, Horses Stop dead, men try to attack you from afar, but they turn and fire at the bushes, or Snipers Panicky miss Jack. They squealed cause they thought a WOLF was about to bite them. No one can hurt Jack at the ranch. The Spirit of the dog eternally guards them for all time. In that game's epilogue, in 2017, a Development tried to start a new housing range out there by starting with the Marshton Ranch. He got extremely annoyed by the dog barking and demanded the owner to shut his dog up or he would kill the dog himself if he didn't stop barking and growling in his ear. Then the current Marshton says, which cuts the noise into silence, "There is no dog, there never was a dog. Maybe over 100 years ago there was... There is a Plaque on that Barn that says Rufus Barn... But there never has been one since." The Man goes white, leaves, and runs away... never to be seen again.
Love these games man. Remember going looking for the lake monster in both titles. Doesn't matter if most of them are myths. The game atmosphere & music make them entirely believable!👻
I think the creepiest thing in red dead history is the guy in the swamps in rdr2. He invites Arthur to go inside his house for “food” and then he does unspeakable things to Arthur and then bill knowing about what happened to Arthur in that guys house.
In RD2 you’ll hear in Black Water of the haunting and the NPC’s will talk about it. Mainly in Red Dead Redemption 2, Blackwater is heavily implied to be a place of unsettling and mysterious occurrences due to its dark history, particularly the brutal "Blackwater Massacre" which is a major plot point in the game, leading many players to perceive it as a haunted location in the game's lore.
This brought back memories of this myths and legends series I used to watch I don’t remember what the TH-cam channel was called but it made me terrified of tumbleweed as a kid. Also, isn’t there a ghost that’s supposed to appear playing the piano in the manor house?
Iirc the footsteps in the tumbleweed mansion are real and are caused by an npc who doesn’t talk The reason why i think that is because i distinctly remember an npc glitching out in multiplayer and phased through the wall on the 2nd floor in said mansion and i remember him not making any vocal sounds
I can confirm that there is no treasure at the IRL Cumberland Falls, other than the beauty of nature itself and the moonbow. There is also no cave behind the falls to hide treasure in.
Correction: the Chupacabra is purely a Puertorrican cryptic. For some reason, stories of a similar blood sucking cryptids came out in Mexico and other parts of Latinamerica which were inspired by our incidents during the 90s and they took the name.
The first game def has a more eerie vibe to it. I do prefer the more variation of landscape and such in RDR2, but RDR has such a vibe and playing as the best character in my opinion. The loneliness is perfect for this game.
It spawns in Mexico... I don't remember what triggers it, but I do remember it has a rainbow effect as it runs. War was always my favourite horse in UN. Just riding this red stallion covered with flames at night looked cool as hell.
you can actually hear dogs barking at Beechers Hope before Rufus returns. scared me terribly when I first heard it but it was probably just an oversight
The other day on Reddit I saw how a bunch of players would go to blue water marsh and particularly the area around the ghost woman, they’d all get a different black and white translucent creepy picture of a random person pop up on the left side of there screen almost like they were being haunted and I was curious if you talked ab this before or what your thoughts on it were? Another one is lights lit in abandoned places like the abandoned trade store next to the railroad in N Roanoke valley, is this just the game lighting areas up? Also very good video and makes me want to play red dead 1 again! :)))
Even though I know that your coming close to the end of your red dead videos, they are the main reason why I watch this channel this and the GTA videos but it's time we switch to gta lore vids because well GTA 6 is on the way and once GTA 6 comes out I can't wait to see all the lore videos about that
So what I find interesting is that RDR2 actually helps explain a few of these myths The werewolf just being a replaced human? Well the donkey lady example was so popular that it was added as an easter egg in RDR2. Who's to say something similar didn't/couldn't happen with a wolf? Extremely rare, but if enough players visit the area it could happen. The lake I believe was confirmed via data mining in RDR2 to originally have a legendary fish like other places. But this one, you'd see someone fishing for it first before they get pulled into the water! Not canon of course since it was never added, but still interesting. Armadillo in RDR2's epilogue I think actually confirms the town is cursed. The shopkeeper has a photo of the Mysterious Stranger and at the mysterious strangers cabin you can find a message on a map of Armadillo that goes along the lines of choosing between health or two generations. Looting the shop keep in RDR2, we find a letter from his daughter saying she's running off to be with a man whom her dad doesn't approve and also tells him that she's pregnant. I suppose we know who made that choice and what that choice was. Man got a whole town cursed.
The name Leviticus, as in Leviticus Cornwall, is from the book in the Old Testament, and it means the law of the priests, so Dutch is being followed by the law when Cornwall pursues him through the map.
I still remember it clear as day. I was doing the one stranger mission with the guy trying to fly. Upon finishing the mission and regaining control of John, i heard a loud screech of some sort. Sounded like a huge bird. I'm not sure what i heard or if it gives any credence to any myths relating to it. But this is a legit thing that happened. In Saints Row 2 i also encountered a faceless "ghost" in the underground area, that i later resaw and caught footage of in Saints Row The 3rd Remastered. It was just a low res model for a npc, i know that. But still cool it happened again so many years later. So for all i know, the screech i heard in Red Dead coulda just been a hawk sound effect that i misinterpreted or something. But it was LOUD. lol so i dunno.
Man I never returned to Beecher's Hope as Jack. The empty house of what was his family. It becomes the most depressing place in the game.
I always thought the place was haunted

I was literally looking for a rdr1 video on your channel last night. Your timing is insane
I miss Red Dead Redemption so much. It's such an amazing game
wanted to share that it’s pronounced Don HULIO
the J is an H sound :)
amazing video & so happy to have you back on my new uploads page
Babe please wake up, its another Fizhy banger.
Iirc the footsteps in the tumbleweed mansion are real and are caused by an npc who doesn’t talk
The reason why i think that is because i distinctly remember an npc glitching out in multiplayer and phased through the wall on the 2nd floor in said mansion and i remember him not making any vocal sounds
The Chupacabra legend is actually an American-inspired cryptic based out of Puerto Rico and Mexico.
I heard that the origin of the legend had been traced to rare coyote/wolf hybrids attacking livestock.
@teleplayer605 no wolves or coyotes in Puerto Rico. I figure that whatever did that was two legged, and quite human.
@@GhostRydr1172 It was the work of stray dogs.
You all stole it from Genesis 6
The first game def has a more eerie vibe to it. I do prefer the more variation of landscape and such in RDR2, but RDR has such a vibe and playing as the best character in my opinion. The loneliness is perfect for this game.
Man, Red Dead Redemption one still looks good after all these years
Fizhy lad, keep those stones left unturned, we can not allow the red dead franchise to fade away.
their actually is a unicorn. it was so long ago i dont remember how i got it in UN, but it was there. Maybe getting the 4 apocolypse horses first?
It spawns in Mexico... I don't remember what triggers it, but I do remember it has a rainbow effect as it runs.
War was always my favourite horse in UN. Just riding this red stallion covered with flames at night looked cool as hell.
THIS IS SOOOOO WHAT I NEEDDEDEED TONIGHT
BOYS THE LEGEND HIMSELF HAS POSTED A RED DEAD REDEMPTION VIDEO!
you can actually hear dogs barking at Beechers Hope before Rufus returns. scared me terribly when I first heard it but it was probably just an oversight
also in red dead 2 online you can collect parts of a meteor but there is a 3rd piece that has yet to be found
this video sent me back in time 😭 I believed these as a kid
Great video btw I love mysteries!! So fun
i remember the werewolf myth in red dead redemption 1 being older than undead nightmare dlc
I absolutely love your videos 🤩🤩
3:44
And also Dutch, apparently. :p
this video took me back to the days of GTA IV when my friends and i as kids would look for rat man
Even though I know that your coming close to the end of your red dead videos, they are the main reason why I watch this channel this and the GTA videos but it's time we switch to gta lore vids because well GTA 6 is on the way and once GTA 6 comes out I can't wait to see all the lore videos about that
Me neither but I have to break the GTA content up a little bit
@Fizhy yup, but I am looking forward to a GTA san Andreas and GTA Vice City in 2024 video.
So what I find interesting is that RDR2 actually helps explain a few of these myths
The werewolf just being a replaced human?
Bro you got Armadillo and Tumbleweed mixed up.
@@KC.45 Just replace tumbleweed with armadillo every time I say it then, sorry
@chandllerburse737 Fixed it, I had only said it once or twice anyways and my point was still gotten across
Feeling myself to this rn
The name Leviticus, as in Leviticus Cornwall, is from the book in the Old Testament, and it means the law of the priests, so Dutch is being followed by the law when Cornwall pursues him through the map.
Another banger!
Mystery man is by far my favorite rockstar urban legend/mystery, i like to think he's the representation of death
i live for these mystery videos
Fizhy making a video on the lore of the grass types in Red Dead 2
Love you bro
Very nice video man.
it's good to be back
As Jack i did see Rufus's ghost he went by the house and just vanished into thin air
WE NEED A RDR3….
Maybe in 2037
If GTA5 lasted for a decade, I imagine GTA6 will last just as long or even longer. I’d much rather get another RDR man!
