I just noticed that Buggy's power is the opposite of Luffy's. Luffy takes blunt attacks like a champ but is weak to cutting attacks. Also, Buggy is the natural counter to 2 Warlords, obviously Mohawk, but also the exact counter to Law. It was hilarious when they "confirmed" that in the Stampede movie with Law actually having to flee from him and Buggy getting to be the aggressor for once!
I don't think that's necessarily the case. Buggy's fruit is a paramecia, so his ability to split into different parts is built into his body now. Haki lets you cut a person's "true essence" but in Buggy's case being able to split apart is a part of him. Buggy's body itself is something that can exist in "small chopped up little pieces." The main reasoning I think of to support this was way back in the Arlong Park arc. Luffy gets thrown into the water with something weighing his feet down, but it didn't take away Luffy's rubber stretching abilities, so Nami could stretch his neck out far enough so that he could still breath. Despite being under the effect of seawater which cripples Devil fruit users, Luffy's body still retains the property of rubber. By extension, even if Haki is negating Buggy's abilities, it still retains its inherent properties. I think if Buggy gets sliced by a haki-infused sword, he would temporarily lose the ability to control the pieces of his body. But since his body is specially able to exist as small pieces that once the haki is no longer affecting Buggy he can just put himself back together. To be fair, I don't think this is covered all that thoroughly yet, and it could go either way depending on how Oda decides later... if he ever decides to touch on this topic, but wanted to play devil's advocate for why this might not be so cut and dry.

I’d really like to see Mihawk vs Shanks. Even Oda has explained that shanks has continued to get stronger after losing his arm. Shanks has some of, if not the strongest haki we have seen this far. His mere presence knocks those without strong will out as to where normal conquerors haki users must have some sort of conviction to knock people out. I think Shanks is much more powerful without his crew than most give him credit for.
The problem with Oda-sensei is that he's focusing on the Strawhats' fights and left these other badass characters' fights with only few description for us to imagine. Roger vs Garp, Shanks vs Mihawk, Shanks vs Kaido before Marineford battle, Shanks vs Blackbeard, Akainu vs Aokiji, Kid pirate vs Bigmom and Shank pirate etc

I think Blackbeard will send his crew to most of the warlord's places after the marines finish their attack, so that he can kill them. Eg - Shiryu may fight weakened Hawkeye after the marines attack him. Kinda like how Burgess destroyed the revolutionary army's island.
I find interesting that black beard and luffy resemble each other. Like their clothing attire and personality are very similar even their constant need to eat. Though their personal views differ. Even how they gain respect is similar as they are both kinda goofy silly captain's that have eared respect through their combat prowess and will power. Reasons why Crocodile is my favorite villain:
1. His backup plans had backup plans. He was so far ahead of our protagonists, he looked like he was trolling them.
2. He clapped Luffy twice! Even after Luffy discovered his weaknesses. "Yay for you, little dude. You can't do nothing with it, though!"- GOATcodile. This is why I don't judge fights off of who should win, but what the plot demands (Looking at you, Coby vs. Hancock. )
3. His drip was immaculate. Gold hook, cape, suits. He looked like the final form of a crooked CEO.

I think Blackbeard will send his crew to most of the warlord's places after the marines finish their attack, so that he can kill them. Eg - Shiryu may fight weakened Hawkeye after the marines attack him. Kinda like how Burgess destroyed the revolutionary army's island.
